He is like a woman with a past; complete with broken pots, pots broken out of her impatience, dirty laundries not done due to her indo­lence, acts of infidelity and morally disabling incidents.

If the city of Lagos were one that remembered its past and held leaders to account, General Bu­hari should not be able to raise any money as campaign contribution and should not receive a single vote from a Lagosian on election day. Indeed, each time the general comes to Lagos to campaign or for any other business, he ought to be greeted by massive and noisy pro­tests.
