Ritualists: Fake Policemen Kidnapped 18 Passengers! by aalani(m): 1:47pm On Dec 24, 2008
Parents must be praying fervently for their wards at all times. This is a life story and it happened to a colleague of mine. His daughter travelled last Thursday to Ire, Osun from Sango Ota, Ogun State. When the girl got to Ibadan, she called her parents to inform them of her safe trip to Ibadan after which she boarded Osogbo bus. In between Ibadan and Osogbo, something shocking happened. The bus she boarded was diverted into an unknown wilderness by suspected fake policemen who were fully kitted in police regalia! After a while the parents of this girl made a call to her to ascertain if she had arrived her destination. Guess what? The line was off! This spurred the parents agitations.

The following day, the girl was able to send her parents sms to alert them of the incident and asked them to be prayerful. Fellow nairalanders, the father who is my company's driver was weeping like a baby. He could not hold the tears slipping off his cheeks. All of us in my office started making contacts, some to their pastors, others to their spiritualists. Just yesterday, as promised by one of the leading men of God, the girl just walked in. The country called Nigeria is an unsafe haven!

Here, she narrated her escapades. Their faces were covered with veils as they were being taken to the place of head. That's to deny them any idea or knowledge of the place. She made us know that rich men in the society do come to the place, pay the kidnappers, and get their consignment. This sounds incredible in a country that has laws and constitution, and some of the so-called lawmakers and government officials are also accomplice. Since the homecoming of the girl, we have not stopped praying in case, the kidnappers have tampered with any of her parts. Sadly to note, only two of them were released by the kidnappers while other victims destiny is still in hands of God.

How do we identify fake police and genuine police? This is a question we must all answer. Please, if you are traveling long distance and you are flagged down by the police, always look out for some of these:

-Check if the patrol van is parked
-Check for the officer's name on his front pocket.
-At least four policemen must be on patrol.
-The policemen on duty must be fully kitted.

May God help us.

Na 2 day? Have this not going to been going on for a while?

We need a solution. Unfortunately, seems like Nigeria was never born with one.

I've heard stories of unsuspecting passengers who were diverted into some bush by their bus driver and some conniving thieves disguised as passengers, to be used for "rituals". or maybe kidnapped and taken elsewhere as slaves.

Needless to say, the insistent culpability of the general public who glory in being extremely credulous anytime juju is mentioned, is one of the key building blocks for this system.

Where juju ritualists literally get away with cold blooded murder and human trafficking in broad daylight.

Thanks to their willing supporters who place "juju" above the law with their gullibility.

The mass kidnapping of busloads of commuters has been known to take place in Nigeria in the past, but this is the first reported instance where the kidnappers were dressed in police uniforms.

Those who failed to escape from the death bus will no doubt have been slaughtered by now in a jungle shrine, so that their limbs and innards can be used to prepare worthless concoctions that will be sold to superstitious clients who hope to acquire wealth with zero effort beyond that of making payment to witch-doctors for the body parts of murder victims.

This is sadly just another of several bizarre paths by which innocent Nigerians vanish into the bowels of hell without trace.

what i cant get my head into is how someone will callously waste a human life for rituals be it money or otherwise and have the consceince to face his/her fellow human being .the thought of it alone gives me nightmares. and to crown it all you are still not as rich as bills gate or the oil sheiks.the daftness of it , some  culture we inherit.
