Good day my gurus in the house
am a beginner in programming currently learning C++ but I don't think I have the patience to learn only one language at a time, that's why am asking my oga's here whether its advisable or OK to combine the C++ that am learning now with another language?

I'm not a pro yet but I think if u wanna learn two or more programing languages at a time, make sure that they are in the same line.
Take for instance, learning PHP with languages like .NET may not be really advisable but learning PHP with languages like javascript, ASP.NET etc may be advisable since they are web programming languages.
Moreso, try and understand how a programming language works very well before moving into another one.
Study and develop various projects from what you've learnt coz by so doing, it'll make you to understand things better than reading with little or no practice.

My guy since u (said you) are a beginner, then just focus on one language for, and have a good grasp of it before moving to learn another language. Cos what u Actually learning at this (beginning) stage is d basics of programming and programming language constructs, once u understand this well, then u can move on and learn as many other langs as u like.

Now to the @op, you did urself good to have started with c++. Now, my two pence is this: add to it a web-based language like php and javascript. You wont regret this.
