Why The PDP Video Against Buhari Is All Poppycock by javarules(m): 1:44pm On Jan 27, 2015
- Everyone believes Shagari's Administration was corrupt, but NO one that was jailed by Buhari is guilty, everyone is innocent. Yet they administration was corrupt. Yes some people were jailed only on suspicion and alleges, not based on actual facts, but then when fighting a war on corruption, non-corrupt politicians who are caught in the cross fire are what you might term "collateral damage"

- On Awwal Ibrahim - read wikipedia page http:///FGZGBFmrAh

- A consortium offer to pay 90% of 700 million dollars, while Lagos will pay 10% in 1982…what are the details of this huge debt. With inflation rate and all that, what amount of debt will lagos be in now if that deal had gone through.

- If this consortium are really as honest why didn't they return the 60+ million already paid to them..or even part of it.

- What was Ogedegbe's crime? Drugs. Check wikipedia list of countries that apply same capital punishment for drugs and drugs related offences (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capital_punishment_for_drug_trafficking#Countries_that_apply_capital_punishment_for_drugs) United States is one of them. China is there, UAE is there.

- Prof Wole Soyinka was quoted saying Buhari enjoyed a master-slave relationship while ruling in 1984-1985. Yet what we are experiencing now is not more different from a master-slave relationship in 2015. Explain to me why all roads have to be closed and commercial activities shut down when the wife of the president comes to town...not the president ooo, the wife.

- Buhari was ruling as a military dictator, He came to take over a Nigeria that was enmeshed in corruption and lawlessness. Yes, he used some very strong measures, but same could be said of Fashola of Lagos, most of us have forgotten what a den of lions CMS, Oshodi, Obalende etc used to be like before BRF. Most of us forgot also that BRF used every form of force available to clean those places up. Were some innocents affected? YES. Is the whole Lagos better for it? YES. During Buhari's fight against corruption, were some innocents affected, YES. Was the whole nation better for it? YES.

- Most people will say YES now if a govt asked to BAN NURTW in lagos, we call them agberos. In 1984, all those associations, ASU, NMA, NUT, NUJ are just what the agberos were today. Unstructured and a platform for embezzlement. Today those associations are far better managed and equipped than they were then, thanks to a jolt back to reality by Buhari.

- GEJ called IBB his father, dare I say like father like son? Civilians who live in Obalende and Ikoyi during IBBs regime will tell you the high handedness of the military during IBBs reign, so IBB is suddenly a father to GEJ and GMB is the devil, when both men operate under same rules. The death of Dele Giwa is still fresh in some our memories....

- Buhari retrenched 200K civil servants. Please pay a visit to any Govt. Office on a monday morning and see the "roborebe" (nonsense) they do there and tell me if they are worthy of work. Of the 200K sacked, how many were actual workers and how many were ghost workers? How many resumes office by 9 and leave by 11?

- On Ghana Must Go: How many mexicans are deported on a daily basis in the US alone? When foreigners are in your country illegally and it doesn't bother you, you are breeding the ground for stuffs like Boko Haram. Deporting 700K Ghanians MIGHT not be the politically correct thing to do, but Buhari was on a mission to clean Nigeria and clean it he did. Today, our borders were so porous, that cameroonian army can match to a nigerian city across the border without any hinderance. It's time for another Chad, Niger, Cameroon, Mali etc MUST GO.

- I remember WAI was so successful that even after IBB abolished it, for years, people still obey moral and public rules like queueing and not littering.

- I lived in the army barracks for about 10 years, You dare not drop a piece of paper on the road and get caught. You will sweep the whole street, if you are lucky, the street might be short. If you are unlucky....That is the discipline we endured as "Barack Boys". You don't urinate on the road, you queue when you need to, you respect elders etc. isn't that good? why is WAI and it's implementation a bad thing?

- They said Maitatsine killed over 1K, how many Ks have BH killed. They said it started under Buhari, but that's a lie, it started under shagari. Buhari dealt a massive blow to Maitatsine and quench the fire of religious fundamentalism in Nigeria for years. He personally lead the battle against Maitatsine, meanwhile GEJ personally hid from Borno state until it was time for election.

- On the 53 suit cases issue, I'll let GMB speak for himself.

“Coincidentally, the Nigerian ambassador to Libya at the time, Dr Tahir Waziri had arrived at the same time with the emir with his three wives and 16 children. They all came with their belongings as he was coming home to take up a new appointment as chief of protocol to the head of state.”

“It was the suitcases of the family of 20 that were counted as belonging to the emir and falsely presented to the public. General Buhari has over the years asked those who have questions over the matter to go to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who was at the head of Customs operations at the airport on the day,” his spokesperson said.

Meanwhile, Buhari has asked Jonathan to explain “what happened to the case of N104m seized from Nancy Ebere Nwosu who allegedly swore to an affidavit to the EFCC that she was laundering money for Dame Patience Jonathan.”

He also wants the president to explain “the announcement by the then EFCC spokesman, Mr Osita Nwajah on September 11, 2006 that the sum of USD13.5 million was seized from another associate of Mrs. Jonathan which the anti-graft body said belonged to the now first lady.”

- On Umar Dikko, What were his crimes? if Dubai had failed to arrest and extradite James Ibori and OBJ had used similar methods to bring him to Nigeria and answer for his crimes, would we have praised or castigated OBJ?

- I wish I was living in those times, where Nigeria can carry out a kidnapping on british soil. Sounds like something out of a science fiction novel, but that is the resolve of GMB to punish corrupt govt. officials. But today, our president is referred to as one man called Jonathan.

- On 2.8 Billion Naira missing and other corruption allegations, GMB has been investigated twice. By Obasanjo and by Shagari, both found nothing against the man. Today 20 Billions Dollars disappeared from NNPC account, the whistle blower, one of the most economic savvy men in the country SLS was sacked. Our president's response? "America Will Know".

- All the roads GMB built while chairman of PTF, GEJ while a president has not been able to build half of that.

- On Ahmad Salihijo, read this (http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/weekly/index.php/tribute/10110-salihijo-ahmad-still-on-our-minds)

- They give quotes that people say while with the opposition. If we go by what FFK, Abati etc has said previously about the same man they want us to vote now.....

- And the last thing in the video is the summary of the video, a joke. A comic relief.
