.As a Nigerian,i want the best for my country and not my tribe. As a christian and an Igbo man am naturally tilted towards Goodluck jonathan. But considering past events, I have come to the conclusion that GEJ is not the best for this country but saying Buhari will be better is like saying that Hittler will be better than herod. During buhari's regime, he was more of a figure head than the man in-charge, the man in-charge was tunde idiagbon that's why when the inferno came, it consumed him and left buhari who was unarguably a toothless bulldog. Buhari's ineptitude was hidden under the cover of idiagbon's effectiveness. Buhari might have stationed himself as an incorruptible man but if my father after working in NNPC and with the huge legitimate priviledges that comes with the office cannot burst of 27 million naira to take care of pressing issues after retirement, I will comfortably classify him as an Economic failure. Buhari's failure to manage his finances after many years as a top millitary officer, head of state and chairman of PTF can be traced back to his lack of formal intellectual foundations which is evident in his inability to pass his school cert and any of his millitary exams but thrived in the millitary with the blessings of the northern oligarchy and federal character, has no business with Aso rock. A man who in the 20th century still believed in using the millitary to force people to do his bidding is not fit to occupy Aso rock. A man who vowed not to let the media enjoy their UN given right to independency and freedom is better termed a coward, A man who in his late twenties is ineffective as head of state can't be effective in his seventies. It is on record that buhari was once quoted as saying that Abacha wasn't corrupt not minding the billions of dollars recovered from Abacha's myriads of accounts all over the world must himself has gained something from Abacha's loot. A man who for 3 consecutive times chose not to campaign in the east, south south and parts of the west must be highly tribalised. A man who believed that sharia should be imposed all over Nigeria must have religious bias. Buhari is the seemingly incorruptible general who is dinning with the heavily corrupted or who doesnt know that obasanjo is the father of modern day corruption in Nigeria or that tinubu has corruption sequenced in his DNA? Buhari can't afford 27million naira but her daughter can afford to attend a money sucking world class university and shop in charnel and we should bear in mind that this is just one of her children. A man that can't afford 27million naira can afford to charter private jet to fly him all over the country, for the readers information, the cost of chartering a private jet from Enugu to lagos run's in millions. I can spend the whole day writing on the many deceits of the General but I have to stop here.
But before I go, I wish to ask buhari to stop deceiving us with his "am poor" card. This is the same card Goodluck played in 2011 and deceived us into voting for him but instead of letting us nurse the wounds of our foolishness in silence chose to inflict more injury by removing fuel subsidy, the only way the common man gain's directly from the government on january 1st, What a Awesome new year gift? Since he chose to call us fools, he is clueless. Buhari might do worse but before you excercise your voting right, think twice. The contest shouldn't end with GEJ and GMB the two devils wearing the cloaks of saints.
I will come back later with my thoughts on GEJ
