My fellow Nigerians,
I am not a politics freak neither an advocate of any party but seriously speaking, I can't just sit back and assume there is no need for my contribution to be read or heard. Thank God for this platform to express my thoughts. Before you decide to read this post, it's good to know that it's strictly for the sensible ones and not politics fanatics.
Election is just 13days around the corner and come to think of it, nobody has ever thought of this or let me say many have thought about these things i am about to share but they turned deaf attention to it.
Firstly, we all know that our dear country Nigeria needs to be transformed in some areas. Frankly speaking, what we need is not a change but a transformation. Permit me to say Nigerians wants a change but change is not a drastic thing as we thought. I feel the change we are all clamouring is not the real change rather it is a means to unseat PDP from the presidential seat that they have occupied for some years or for some ulterior reasons, that’s all. If truly we need change, then I strongly believe there should also be a change in power in Lagos State from APC to PDP but the question is; will APC ever agree we also need a change in Lagos State and some other states?
Secondly, whenever APC members defect to PDP, APC labels it as power drunk members and all sort of words. Watch out for PDP members that defected to APC, they don’t loud it the way APC does rather they handle it in-house. I remembered that thousands of PDP members defected to APC, some s0-claimed party members who are known for being corrupt yet they were welcome by the APC. My questions are:
Is it that APC have a restoration plan in place to cleanse them off from the corrupt tag on them?
Will APC use the blood of Jesus to wash them?
What is their plan for these people?
For the sake of we Nigerians, politicians will always be politician irrespective of their party. POLITICS simply means POLY-TRICKS (many tricks) and that’s the reason why we need to transform this country. Remember I said change is not a drastic thing.
Thirdly, remove insecurity from GEJ’s tenure, seriously I see no reason why this man should be heavily criticized. It’s just so unfortunate that the “Boko Boys” has promised by the Unknown has caused setback to our dear country and many of us will never see anything good from what he has done. Sorry to say this, some countries live with terrorism but it’s so sad that we are experiencing it at the wrong time because it wasn’t so from the beginning. United we must move this country forward not watching the country being ripped apart all because someone want to use it to campaign against his/her opponent. Is that the change we need?
Fourthly, I sat myself down and asked this: Why would someone who was defeated the first, second and third time still interested in contesting for the fourth time? Though I couldn’t find a reasonable to it. It’s rather unfortunate that we have allowed religious sentiments to intrude into the affairs of this great country. Where is not the hope of “Our Leaders of Tomorrow”? If Gov. Fashola could admit that Agbaje is too old to rule Lagos state, please reasonable fellows, what message is that to our APC Presidential Candidate? Even if we are clamouring for a change, I strong agree GMB is not an Option.
Only the reasonably ones will digest these few out of many points before commenting….
Vote Wisely….
