The Jeep is good. If you ask the owners of the jeep in Nigeria, they will tell you to flee from the thought but I will advise you to go ahead and buy and dont be thinking of the engine and gear issues ahead of the Jeep. The best way to maintain it is to use Octane Booster all the time whenever you fill your tank with fuel. The owners ignore the warning on the fuel tank which states that Unleaded fuel only. Premium fuel is recommended for Maximum performance. We dont have Premium fuel in Nigeria and as such you dont get maximum performance and as time goes on, the gear will refuse to shift and the ignition timing will be over advanced because the knock sensor is gone and then other little things will start manifesting as a result of the fuel being used. The parts seller and the mecs will be waiting patiently for you to start paying tithe, first fruit and offerings to them. In the end.........

The only thing I can chip in is that Nissan products generally don't take abuse, even the slightest abuse they don't condone especially their V6 engines, if you can have that at the back of your mind then maintaining that car is easy, though I see many naija used one put up for sale.

Oboy see comments cheesy

My advice:

Buy it, if you like it

Its a sweet ride

For you, buy a clean title-toks.

Contact nissparts for a comprehensive assessment, appraisal and follow-up.

Don't relent in efforts to maintain factory standards.

But, really, NO-ONE drives a nissan on my street
Who cares?

I like people who don't conform to the "Nigerian mentality".

I need me a JAGUAR V8 sedan...
