Urgent Advice Needed by Nobody: 6:09pm On Feb 02, 2015
dear all,

I'm posting this here because I feel I would get the advice from serious and accomplished individuals that would help shape my life here.

I'm a 21 year old OND graduate, I come from a family of seven, I'm the first child. my father is a retired civil servant n my mum a petty trader (low income earners).

I got a job with an old generation bank in 2013 as a contract staff, I've been using the proceeds to support my family and sustain myself in lagos. due to the nature of the job, we can be laid off at anytime without notice. I'm not content being an ND holder, I want to further my studies but there is no one to sponsor me and the chances of me dropping out due to lack of funds is high if I decide to leave the job and sponsor myself to school with the little money I've been able to save, distance learning or parttime is not an option because I studied e/e engineering and my wasc does not allow me to change course.

I'm at a cross road and do not wish to be a bottom feeder for life.

should I dump the job and pick a direct entry form and hope for a miracle, or use the savings to process admission in a tuition free school abroad and hopefully get a job there. please advise.

any other suggestions are welcomed. if you have questions, I'll gladly answer them.
