K. Kaduna rail project was completed in December 2014 & it covers a distance of 180km, & was built at the cost of $500 (N80 billion @ rate of $1=N160, as at then).
The PH monorail by APC gov. Amaechi, covers a distance of 4km, stands abandoned and has cost the state about N180 billion.
The Lagos state light rail project, which covers a distance of 57km was awarded in 2006 by Fashola at a cost of $1.3Billion (N208 billion), & still up in the air despite several billions spent.
So, how do you respond Mr. APC?

For real?

A labour union exists to fight for the rights of its members...and other workers....including you.

So, if you really want to earn salaries that cannot take you home....continue to oppose the TUC call for a better wage for workers.

It is MORE important to review and adjust the DISPARITY between what is paid to real workers & political office holders all working for the same governments.

It is ABSURD that a teacher earns a miserable N30,000 while a LGA Councillor collects N300,000.

How can such a society create VALUE and develop

No wonder a semi-literate old pensioner who ABANDONED secondary to rush and join the army is begging to apply for our nation's top job shocked

Olorun maje!
Tufiakwa!!
God forbid!!!

"If Buhari was pictured attending a mosque, and it was reported that
the Imam said 'he would open the gates to hell upon those who oppose
Buhari', and Buhari sat there and said nothing, what do you think many
people would be saying today?
If Buhari was pictured going to different mosques and kneeling before
Imams, as part of his campaign, what do we think the comments would
be?
If Buhari was pictured going on pilgrimage to Mecca, surrounded by a
retinue of fawning Imams, what would the response be from Nigerians?
If Buhari invited senior Imams from across the country to a meeting
with him, to discuss the elections and his campaign strategy, what
would the Nigerian people think?
GEJ has done all the above, and we are told he has a right to do so as
a committed christian. Buhari has done none of the above yet he is
called a religious fundamentalist with a plan to turn Nigeria into an
Islamic nation.
Please examine the facts so we can honestly decide who is acting like
the real religious fundamentalist?Who is using religious faith as a
political ploy to get votes?

OMAR BANGURA from Sierra Leone has this to tell Nigerians;

"I don't think you guys know what you are playing with. You can call each other names and laugh about it now but when you end up inciting hate here as I read through your posts here and a real civil war start in your country you will regret what you are doing now. Your religious and political leaders are trying to divide you between religious lines and you are helping them do that rather than standing up and say we are all nigerians never mind our tribe, region or religion. That's the only stand that will save your blessed nation. The foreign powers pushing the government to take certain decisions will abandon you when you start killing each other and reject you from running to their countries so be careful. Our 11 years war in Sierra Leone was not even based on religious or tribal difference and see what we did to our country. The worst conflicts are those based on tribal and religious differences. See Central Africa, Bosnia. My heart bleeds when I read what you guys are saying because I know what this will lead to. You will be the losers all of you whether Christian, Muslim, ibo, yoruba or hausa. Stand as one and save your nation together because you have only one Nigeria that has the potential to lead Africa."
PLEASE HELP SAVE NIGERIA AND SHARE THIS TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE

even the #18k is not yet fully implemented. People still earning below this said amount...I don't believe in making decrees and setting up standards, the important thing is IMPLEMENTATION... if they're not well implemented, the whole aim and purpose is murdered.

A rise in the minimum wage at a time of crashing oil prices! Is the TUC not living in dreamland?

Presently, the idle civil servants consume a huge bulk og government revenue and that is one reason there is very little left for capital expenditure. Government needs to prune the civil service urgently. SLS advised as much when he was CBN governor.

There is nothing wrong is salaries go up but their numbers be cut down to improve productivity but also the reduce the huge wage bill

With GEJ, every individual or group has a say in Nigeria.

GEJ increased the same minimum wage from 12500 to 18000.
