This same 2013 he was fighting insurgency while Buhari didn't fight. GEJ was trying to use every means necessary to see to the end of the insurgency. Osinbajo should stop cleaning the image of Buhari, whether he wins or not, he is a fundamentalist and an extremist. His statements and actions are there to prove it. And please nairalanders, I know Osinbajo as a seasoned lawyer but what I don't know is what he brings to the table as far as politics is concerned for the APC. His CAN and PFN has abandoned him, so it means he is politically irrelevant. Which also means that by any reason Buhari is voted in and he starts misbehaving, Osinbajo doesn't have the political might to stand up to him. Votewisly.

Did you listen to our Vice President, a so-called architect, say this statement yesterday at PDP Presidential rally in Minna?

"In PDP, we are Muslims. Our National Chairman (Muazu) is a Muslim. Our DG Campaign(Ahmadu Alli) is a Muslim, me, the Vice President, my name is 'Namadina (meaning the man from Madina, Saudi Arabia) and I am a Muslim. Only Jonathan is a Christian. But in APC, their Chairman (John Oyegun) is a Christian, their DG Campaign (Rotimi Amaechi) is a Christian, their Vice Presidential candidate (Yemi Osinbajo) is even a Pastor, only their Presidential candidate (Buhari) is a Muslim. So, between PDP and APC, which party is the Muslim party?". The crowd yelled PDP!!!

This statement is on tape (aired live yesterday by NTA and Channels TV). You may confirm from NTA and Channels TV websites if you missed the live program.

I thought the youths are the leaders of tomorrow, atleast that is what our past leaders (Gowon, Shehu Shagari, Gen. Mohamadu Buhari, Olusegun Obasanjo, etc) told us the youths. But what are some of them (like Gen. Mohamadu Buhari) still want as president, what does he still have to offer again? If these old leaders keep coming back, when are we as youths, the supposed leaders of tomorrow (which is now), going to lead? When are we going to take the future in our hands? Why do our past leaders even keep coming back, thereby, interrupting and intercepting our good future. If past leaders that were around during their youthful age kept interrupting and intercepting their future during their time as youths, would they have had the priviledge of leading when they were youths? Elders/senior citizens are supposed to be on the side, as states-men, advising/showing the youths in a country the way when they are going off course, not being in the hay with kids (youths) hussling/fighting for positions. I ask, why fight over what rightfully belongs to the youths? Why try to hijack our future out of personal/selfish interest and agenda? Every youth wants change indeed, but the change we desire is not the type of change that they are brandishing. We desire a change that will enable us to grasp the future with our two hands, not the change that wrests our future from our hands and give it to an old man who was amongst those that told us that the youths are the leaders of tomorrow. Where is their integrity then, if they tell us one thing and then turn around to do another? We, the youths have to wake from our slumber and say no to old leaders who keep raping us and our future. I implore every youth therefore, to say no to any candidate that's over 65-years. Say no to elders/senior citizens and those who feel that being president is their birth right and that they must always come back to rule, no matter what and at any age and time they desire. Say no to elders who keep brainwashing the youths that we are leaders of tomorrow but they won't let us achieve that idea. Be wise then, take the future in your hand and cast your votes wisely. Let us be the leaders of tomorrow INDEED not just in words because we're ready to walk the talk NOW.

What you don't know is that Prof. Osinbajo has been involved in politics for many years and was involved in the drafting of the manifesto of the APC. That CAN section that support GEJ have done so "secretly" cause any official support is an insult to Christianity and that organisation is bereft of sound reasoning and has lost the leadership of the holy spirit. Osinbajo is one of the most educated, articulate and well seasoned politicians in Nigeria. Whatever happens come February 16th, he'll always be respected.

As stupid as that sounds, it's more stupid and the highest level of ignorance for anyone to even believe that crap.

Under what reason will Gej attend OIC?? I think it is high time we pdp supporters wake up to this propaganda by pdp against the APC. If a man can give his first daughter out to a xtain, if his cook and driver were christains, How can such a man islamize this country?
Pdp has used every possible means to castigate buhari. They said he doesn't have a certificate, they said he wants to islmaize this country, when it is very obvious that ibb drag nigeria into OIC. They said he sentence a lot of personlaities to jail when it was obvious then that so many personalities was guilty of the crime they commited. There is one thing I love about buhari.. Jonathan attended OIC meeting, and some people are still accusing him of dividing the country along religious line, GEJ is always looking for ways to please the northern elites.

And as far as OIC is concerned, It was Buhari who took the first step, If not that IBB deposed him, He would have completed the process.

He's just trying to launder Buhari's image, Most lawyers are liars, It becomes worst If that lawyer becomes a politician.

If he likes, he can appoint Shekau as his VP, all I know is he is going back to Otuoke

ceejayclas:
VICE Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has chided President Goodluck Jonathan for being the first Nigerian leader to have attended the meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) since Nigeria was surreptitiously enlisted by President Ibrahim Babangida in 1986.

Osinbajo disclosed this on Tuesday, at an interactive session with professionals in Warri, Delta State.

He said those accusing the presidential candidate of the party, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari, of being a Muslim fundamentalist and campaigner of Islamisation of Nigeria were doing nothing but distorting history.

“Throughout his period as military head of state, Buhari was under intense pressure to drag Nigeria into the OIC, but he never yielded, because he respects Nigeria as a secular state, in line with the constitution. Besides, his cook and driver are Christians.

“When Babangida eventually dragged Nigeria into OIC, none of his successors ever attended any of its meeting because they know to Islamise Nigeria is very difficult, as you need to first get the constitution amended. That process, you know, is almost impossible.

“But it is on record that in 2013, President Jonathan, undermining the constitutional limitation, ensured that Nigeria attended an OIC meeting,” he declared.

Is Osinbajo indirectly saying Jonathan was attempting to Islamise Nigeria by attending OIC summit? This man seems to be a dunce. How can a Professor of law be such brainless and petty? His utterances have been so childish and primitive.
