Let not forget Benin women control their household Esan women wouldn't dear do that. Let not forget a Benin woman can commit an adultery while she is still married if Esan woman does that she will run mad. Let not forget a Benin man welcome a bastard from his wife and nothing will happen. I heard this growing up. As for infidelity in Edo men Benin are actually worst than Esan. Yes an Esan man can be a Playboy but once he finally gets it right and its a done deal. You say what you want to say about us Esan girls but once we are finally married even if we are suffering in the marriage we mostly stay for kids and the shame from the family outburst. grin

You are the most bigoted, ignorant person I have met online. Is ur ex a bini dude? U re a chronic lier by saying a bini woman can cheat without any repercussions? Infact the fear of her or first son dying is what bars a bini married woman from adulterous act. Also you cant severe Esan umbilical cord from bini. Esan are fully binis by lineage. That why majority great like binis...lagiesan, lavbieze...etc in other words, Esan is a extension of Binis

Well I have to state here that she is not far from the truth. I was once seriously engaged to a Bini girl who was trafficked by her parents abroad. We had a Child together and she left the child at 9 months for Spain to prostitute for money. I bless God she left because there was a total turn around of event the same year she left. I am married to a beautiful esan woman who has accommodated my first child and also given me a second child.

Esan women respect tradition so much when compared to the Bini woman. A Bini woman wants to be in charge and Bini men are fucking lazy, they always want food on their table. I have to also state that, you have 2 to 3 girls prostituting abroad in a Bini family and it is notorious fact that is know by the EU.

Also another thing that is common among Binis is betrayal, they sold their Oba, Oba Ovoramen to the British invaders, if not for Esan land Bini would have been left in ruins....The Esan warriors came to Bini rescue couple of times during the invasion. It will beat your imagination that all the conquest expedition by the Oba Square the 1st has Esan Infantry soldiers and dark art magicians, thus the so called Lagos fell to the Bini due to the man power support from Esan land. Also I will like you to know that it took the British 7 years to Conquer Esan land compared to Bini where the city was sacked and Oba deposed due to the betrayal syndrome associated with them. The Bini suffered defeat in Esan land and lead to the death of Oba Ozolua. Esan contributed immensely to the sacking of Akure, Idah and other places. Do Binis have the sense for gurrelia warfare? LoL...Esan men gave the British a run for their money with our Gurrelia tactics even when it was not a known phenomenon back then.
Please don't in your life compare Bini with Esan, we are small but got the strength of Spartans. Go ask your palace chiefs and Oba who are the best medicine men in Edo State....they will point to the center. Esan is the Center that holds Bini.
Sadly, the reason the Binis fear us is because of our strength, unity and ability to conquer anywhere we go.

first ur generalisations is wrong. secondly bini and Ishan which is more known internationally in terms of history? Thirdly, u fail to address where the Esan come from? Fourthly, every empire makes use of military men frim its vassal-land just like Rome use General Scipio Africano to conquer Carthage and so bini having Esan military general cant be different but we all know that Bini were always the commanders. Fifth, Esan doesnt have a language of their own. 90 percent of Esan words are Twisted bini. And most Esan cities or villages are derived from Bini words. e.g Ewohimi...land or town of Ikhimwin ( a type of plant), Igueben village of Eben etc. About prostitution or laziness of bini men, you just displayed ur bigotry or hatred for the binis who birthed u. Prostitution isnt limited to binis, it is a modern world cancer no thanks to moral permissiveness of putrid society. Also saying that potent medicine men re mainly from Ishan is just one lie too many. Maybe u hv not taken ur research to Usen, Utekon etc. U claimed Esan defeated bini army yet they couldnt liberate themselves from being under the binis. Today as from time immemorial, Esan have no kings, your Enojies re all sons of the Oba and under authority of the Benin Monarch. What else do u want me to say?

You have not responded to me like an educated person. You just ranted and ranted without even addressing issues I raised. I raised issues of Bini and Prostitution which is a notorious facts. I addressed Bini symptom of betrayal which is well know by their betrayal of their Oba who was deposed as an Oba and sent packing to Calabar via Ughoton River and I also addressed the reason why Binis fear Esan people Militarily. I also raised issues of Esan Serving as Mercenary soldiers because your lame ass people couldn't defeat Idah and Akure, rather I took Esan Mercenaries involvement for Binis to win those wars. I also addressed the fact that Bini and her Oba was sacked within one year because of the fact that you betrayed your Oba and you betrayed Ogiso Ewodo's first son Izoduwa. I'm not disputing whether throngs of our ancestors came from Bini but I am telling you that real men left Bini and lame ass men stayed back that is the reason you find most of your success tied to your girls in Italy. You where the ones that corrupted Esan Girls into prostitution. The Binis have been known to be prostitute since the late 1970's. Thus making Bini people the highest number of human traffickers and prostitute in Black Africa. I'm not making a case for anyone doing prostitution.... But what I'm saying that the fact that you all claim Esan came from Bini or somewhere else, I'm saying that we have held our game high and built our culture.
I wonder why I should respond to your next lame comment when you don't know that Esan Clothes were sold in Manchester trade fair in the 19th Century as reported by Walter Rodney in his book. The Esan people already had a textile industry that has flourished over time and still existing today... you see the Ododo Clothes, Igbulu and many other Esan clothes to mention a few. We may have similarities in culture, language and religion. But Esan have held their own and developed her own well...

d name esan has nothing to do with d esan tribe,d meaning of esan in yoruba is revenge, ikeja has no relation to esan either and it is isale eko not esale(why did u get that one from).i thought it was bini that has influence on some few parts of lagos, where did esan one come from?

Esan people have always influenced Lagos state, all the way from slave trade, the name Eko is an Esan word that means camp, that was from slave trade

Eko is an Edo word, not an Esan word. It is intelligible to both Esan and Bini because they are both dialects of the same language
