After the Mo'hit break up, I've learned so much from D'banj.

Don't just be a name be a Brand: one can say D'banj is a "brand" because he has set himself apart from his counterparts, a close look at D'banj shows that he has always been a well dressed man, he doesn't sag his trousers, he dresses like a brand and that's why Companies want him to help advertise their products

Be Responsible: D'banj has so far shown himself to be responsible in terms of business, he has always honoured contracts and there has not been any news where a company sues him to court for contract breach, since his days as first African UN peace ambassador in 2007.

Be intelligent and International: While the Mo'hits were still together D'banj has always travelled abroad, met foreign people and coupled with his intelligence has become a name to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry.

The main lesson for today is that hits don't get
you paid without relationships, strategic
planning, and hardwork. While I'd say
D'banj hasn't done much in terms of
recent musical hits, he has far exceeded
expectations (and then some) when it
comes to business and endorsements.

He's still getting shows and alot of
buzz. He also does a good job inspiring
and encouraging the youths as well as
his peers. With his solid fashion trend,
I'm pretty sure a top level international
designer will soon endorse him. #1 in
the African continent.

So for the Upcoming artiste its not just about singing, singing and singing is about being strategic, hardworking, intelligent and more importantly becoming a brand
