It's sad that our banks and financial institutions can be as irresponsible callous and careless towards their customers' welfare as this.
On the 22nd of December i attempted to make a transfer from my Zenith bank account to my GTB account via the quickteller website
the transaction failed on the quickteller website but i was debited by the thieving zenith bank the sum of #2,600 two thousand six hundred naira. As if i knew it might be swept under the carpet by some unscrupulous elements at zenith bank, i went to the zenith bank branch closest to me and made a complaint. I was told to wait for eight working days to be refunded. Till now i have not received a refund. i contacted quickteller and complained to them, they responded by forwarding the transaction details to both me and my bank. I called Zenith bank customercare because they never respond to their emails (What an incompetent bank!) i was told interswitch was the facilitator of the transaction that only they(Interswitch) could shed more light on the state of the transaction.

After several days of continuous calling i was told interswitch had informed them that the transaction failed. Now refund my money! zenith bank refuses stating that interswitch did not tell them why the transaction failed. what kind of a thieving bank is this? they are just digging up one excuse or the other to keep sitting on my money.

If they played this kind of tricks on others and succeeded i assure Zenith bank that this kind of trick will not work on me. I'll stop at nothing to expose their shameless stealing antiques to all and sundry until they return my money to my account. and if they still refuse to return my
money i will take the issue to court and will definitely sue for damages and also ruin their already dwindling reputation while am at it.

Please if there's a lawyer in the house who can take up this fight for me kindly let me know because i'll definitely stop at nothing to destroy these thieves until they return my money! am not the kind of person you toy with! Zenith bank for your information am a web developer and i'll use all my God given talents to destroy your bank bit by bit until you return my money! i will continue this smear campaign all over the internet and social media until i receive an alert notifying me that my money has been refunded!

They won't respond to mails if you're being nice to them, but send them a "stinker" and see how fast your money will be moved back to your account.
I had a similar experience last year when I used zenith card while abroad, thank God I kept the slip, Zenith almost denied the transaction but after I sent them "email of life" my money hit my account the third day.

Do not attempt to take down this post because if you do, i'll register domain names and setup my own blogging platform dedicated to nothing but a smear campaign against Zenith bank until you thieving lots return my money. And oh! you do the math, the more you delay to refund my money, the more damage i'll be doing to your corporate image!

@aanumama i'm tired of threatening and sending them emails! I'll so smear their name that they will be grateful if they even get a new customer again in their lives! i've already begun and i'll continue. One more thing, i'll carry them along as i go so they can see my progress on the smear campaign. Imagine their excuse that interswitch did not give them a reason why the transaction failed! what a flimsy excuse to sit on my money! Zenith bank plc! you'll be sorry by the time i'm done with you!

I like your 'no tolerance' spirit but take it easy and make sure you don't expose you biodata, make you no go kpai for 'small' money.

thanks for the warning...but the "small" money phrase is offensive... even if the money in question was 1.2 million naira they'll still want to sweep it under the carpet... i refuse to turn a blind eye on any form of stealing directly from my pocket by a financial institution which was supposed to protect my interest in the first place. "make you no go kpai" that phrase is also out of place. try to watch your language next time or are you encouraging them to steal money from customers?

we nigerians are so used to being cheated that we now even defend the thieves by using phrases like "na small money". no money is small or big when it comes to financial institutions or has anyone been credited with 2,600 naira by any bank just because it's "small" money? i wonder how some nigerians think at times....besides if i just let this money slide like that they will try a bigger financial stealling from my account next time. I am not going to let that happen! Zenith Bank Nigeria Plc, Refund My Money!
