This might seem funny to some people but seriously,i'd like to know in detail, what it means when someone says he/she has "feelings" for another person. what are feelings exactly? romantically speaking i mean, is it of fondness or what?,
and it would be nice if its not explained in a 'butterflies in your stomach' kinda way.(i don't get that description)

It is the way the emotions start out. You start to care about thier well being and safty. You wonder and hope for thier safty and that they feel well. They are more than just a passing tought.

You care for them like you would your very best friend.
