If you don't enjoy working alone, then you shouldn't bother with the contracts. Money isn't everything.

@poster, i believe you are saying that you wish to work with a network of ppl with more experience just so you may improve?
Well, you can alwayz look for folks that handle similar programming. Me, i usually work alone freestyle, but bring in guys when needed
depending on how complex the job gets. But if you are talking of improving - u can consider finding some online friends with great
wealth of experience from which you can benefit from - most of my programmer friends are online in various forums.
If i have any issues and post them there - in less than a day a solution will come out and i can pick from there.

When you already know the basics of whatever language(s) you are practising - then it all becomes easier. Even here on NL i have
met some very interesting programmers - just that some of them are alwayz rivalling - i used to be that competitive atimes too -
anyway - it is your choice - but dont ever feel inadequate because you work alone - as long as you are getting your job done that is.
