Millions Of Nigerians In The Diaspora -- Zero Places To Visit In Nigeria by MandingoII(m): 9:26pm On Jan 06, 2009 |
There are More Nigerians roaming on other continents - THAN ANY OTHER AFRICAN. Yet when you talk to a Nigerian about visiting Nigeria - they blank and do not recommend visiting, This is shameful WHY is it that Nigeria does not have a tourism industry to attract people from around the globe. Surely, you must know - people with money love to travel. When 'we' meet people from around the Globe we talk to them about their country. Usually, they tell of great pleasures their country have to offer. The food, the people, the beauty of the country, the vibe of the country, the style of the women, the statue of the men, they pride of the capitals and the flair of the resorts. NOT NIGERIA With all that oil money you would think that one of those LOOTERS would have come up with a 'bright idea' to create a way to get western money pouring into the country like Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa. ***************** Ghana is pressing hard for those international dollars. When will Nigeria - some of the smartest Africans I've ever meet - wake the fugg up? |

@Poster The problem is just as you have described it. There are more Nigerians living outside their country than any other country have their citizens living outside their country, therefore, when foreigners knows this statistics, dont you think the first thing that will occur to their mind is that, if Nigerians dont like living in their country and prefer going abroad to live and possibly suffer, then that means there is nothing owrthwhile to go and see in Nigeria. Dont you also know that the way these Nigerians talk about their country to foreigners is so absurd that no reasonable foreigner will want to come here except work has forced him or her to do so Dont you know? Even the way the Nigerian press portrays the country, do you think any right thinking people will want to come here for any tourism, even if you have all the seven wonders of this world in Nigeria, dont u digit? |
