You totally have to check Bourne out! The three titles are great, the action's gritty and real, the emotions raw and the theme music good. I'm not an action movie fan,but the Bourne franchise's definitely worth a peek.

But if you haven't seen Craig's Casino Royale, you should. It's very good.

I'll go 4 Bourne but let's not 4get that at the moment the Bond series portrays him as an upcoming agent and not a full-fledged one like Bourne.So let's give Bond some slack here.

They are both worth it in their own end. Bond doesnt work alone, has intelligence on what to do, but Bourne does all the work himself. Having said that, while Bond had been on for a long time in the past and achieved the best in what he knows how to do best, Bourne just came to the scene, and with the little I had seen of Bourne, I think it is only a matter of time before it surpass Bond.

I'm gonna make this simple, Bourne.

@Karma. You probably should just watch them serially as they're not unconnected. And Bourne Ultimatum is the end of the series as it should be. If you like Damon, you'll love Damon after this. Plus I think Nolan directed the first one, Greengrass the second and I forget who did the third.

Remember Roger Moore? Or even "cool" Sean Connery? I can't remember exactly which of the "Bond's" it was now, but I distinctly remember being 10 yrs old, sitting on our parlour settee, watching James Bond, and thinking: This guy is such a wuss! Honestly, the only time I ever liked Mr. Bond was when he was getting the bejeezums beaten out of him in Die Another Day(u know, when Brosnam was getting the electric shocks and was seeing flying thingys, just before the movie began proper) - I mean, he took it like a man. I bet if it'd been Moore, he'd made some licorice, chocolatey remark to his torturer (who'd be female B.T.W) and gotten her to giggle like a piglet (Owh, Mizzterr Bonhhd!); I don't even want to think of what Dalton would've done. Yeeesh.

But Bourne, now you got a real soldier. He doesn't make licorice, chocolatey remarks to nobody. He doesn't get lucky; he doesn't have fancy see-through cars; damn, he doesn't have nothing - no big Momma Judy Dench to save his lazy backside - nobody! Yet, he survives - and God help whoever gets in his way! _{Like Sisi!}

@Karma. I remember now that it was Doug something that directed the first Bourne installment and Paul Greengrass that did the other two. They're still gritty as hell though. Plus the big man himself, Robert Ludlum co-produced the first. He's died since.

I'm glad you also see that sometimes an actor can almost ruin the character for you and another thing about Bond is that his villians aren't the same, his co-stars aren't permanent.
