The house of Representative has (360) seat with majority an Islamist from the North and SouthWest just like the case in the Senate. If the president send a bill to the National assembly, it will be 86 per cent successful... if you think the vice president can do anything to prevent this, you have to think twice and remember the case of Obasanjo and Atiku where Atiku was unable to prevent his boss ridding him, I know u know what happen between OBJ and Atiku Abubakkar so, I don't need to say more on that............... Your analysis is flawed, a lot of the the Northern senators are from the middle belt majority of Whom are christians. I sincerely doubt if muslims have majority control in the national assembly. That is apart from the fact that they all know it's a very volatile subject which they will rather avoid.

If you think it's volatile, I will like you to remember what happen in Turkey years ago, if you are a student of history, I think I should write thousands words or give hundreds link for you to know how Turkey became an islamic state, and if you are current, I don't need to narrate what is happening in France, the number of muslim in France, or how they make their territory a no go area for any body or their effort so far to divide france or their push to make the country to be submissive to the practice of Islam, or make the whole france an islamic state...... if you are current, I think you should not forget in a hurry, HAMAS..... don't forget how Ilorin became a strong islamic base..... don't forget that the law can be amended,
