2) Ajaokuta under minister of steel, Mamman Ali Makele was a veritable tool of corruption by d NPN. Unfortunately, it was never cancelled by ANY nigerian govt.
3) PZ, UAC, Kingsway, Chanrais & many multinationals folded up under Shagari & not GMB. They folded up not because of d indegenization policy but because d nation was bankrupt.
4) d NPN crooks hoarded food & essential commodities in private warehouses while d masses suffered due to lack of dis commodities. d warehouses of dis crooks were thrown open & nigerians were given a relief.
5) d Buhari/Idiagbon regime was a corrective govt. Unfortunately crooked politicians tried to test its resolve to sanitize d nation by sponsoring treason thru some unscrupulous brown-envelop-collecting individuals.
6) Buhari paid off SOME debts incurred by d thieving politicians while d rest was paid off not too long ago. Unlike under Shagari when for d 1st time in nigerian history, d fed govt couldn't pay staff salaries, GMB paid salaries of workers & never sacked civil servants.
If Shagari's kleptocracy is what democracy is about, may nigeria never know democracy. GMB rescued d nation frm a recession worse than what Greece experienced recently. His economic team under d then min of finance, Dr Onaolapo Soleye rejected d IMF loan & its slavish conditionalities & devised an ingenuous system of barter 4 oil. This was highly successful & it stabilized d economy. d inflationary rate was kept at between 3-5% & d exchange rate at $1 to 1 naira.

In my opinion this whole debacle has gotten rather boring..a couple of months ago this thread would probably have gotten to 20pages but not possible anymore cus people are just tired..the truth is majority have already made up their minds on whether its APC and their questionable change or PDP and their quite hilarious mantra of Continuity that they would vote for as a matter of fact there probably will be much less voters next month than there would have been had we stuck to feb14 whether or not people finish collecting their PVC...people have quite simply moved on with their lives as should they cus they know both parties hardly have their interests at heart...haven't said that I'd really love for the APC to suprise me

i should tell you one of the lies? It seems you either lack a conscience or are ignorant of happenings and facts. FFK did not come with facts but with outright lies, half truths and propaganda. Here are some though in case you somehow missed them. Some of his lies, half truths and propaganda are in green below.

He said that the APC is planning to rig- This is a mere unfounded assertion, he lacked and lacks a shred of proof, propaganda.

He said that he did not know the school Amaechi ever went to if he ever went to school.- This is a lie, even later in the same interview, he mistakenly told us that Amaechi went to University.

He said that Amaechi became governor without winning election.- This is an half truth as Amaechi actually won a second term election to be governor. Also, the Supreme Court decision is a lawful and legal process in this country.

He said that Amaechi told the world that he was prepared to do anything to become the Vice Presidential candidate of APC.- Where was i when Amaechi was busy telling the world this?

He said that Amachi closed the courts for one year- He forgot to tell us and the Anchorman had to remind him that it was the Federal Courts that were closed by the FG, and he continued to insist on this point which is at best an half truth.

He said that Amaechi appointed his psychiatrist as commisioner because of personal mental problem.- This is an unfounded allegation, a big lie of a propaganda. Amaechi has no such public medical conditions.

He said that he was miserable all the time that he was with the APC.- Of course, this is an exaggeration and a lie.

He said that the most decent people in the APC are people from PDP.- It is generally acclaimed that the most decent person in the APC is Buhari, he is not from the PDP.

He said that it is habitual with the APC to rig.- Unfounded allegation, actually it is the PDP that has been caught severally by the courts and recently on tape rigging elections.

He said that Buhari threatened violence if he should lose.- This remains an unfounded assertion and unproven allegation by chiefly the PDP. Instead we have actually and very recently heard PDP members like Asari Dokubo, Jimi Agbaje and Fayose threatening violence if they lose. These are clear proof, not some debatable 2001 or so newspaper cut.

He said that APC brought religion and ethnicity into politics.- Whatever his timeline might be, 1960, 1979, 1993, 1999, 2014, he is lying. We have the Vice President Sambo on video more than once telling people to vote for PDP because PDP is a muslim party. He has said that at least twice already this year on national TV. President Jonathan has been visiting all his so called brethren in church looking for votes. PDP has been the one reminding the north on ethnic lines to wait for 2019 both in the dailies and on other media. They have been asking that the south south must have 8years. They have being most ethnic and religious focused and bent on heating up and dividing people on those lines than ever seen in recent times.

He said "don't question my convictions"- Here is an hypocrite who in the same 20mins or so criticized another person of not answering questions. He blatantly refused to answer the anchorman Seun when asked about why he talked against the PDP when in the APC and he's now back. He said DON'T QUESTION MY CONVICTIONS.

He said that Buhari said he will spread Sharia throughout every part of this country, and that muslims should only vote for muslims. This is a bare faced lie and an unproven allegation, propaganda conceived by the PDP. In fact, it is Vice President Sambo who has said that northerners should vote for PDP because it is a muslim party. He said that APC is a christian party having VP Candidate Osinbajo, and their national chairman Oyegun as christians.

He said that Buhari looted PTF, and that the FG then had decided to prosecute Buhari and that he would have been in jail.- This is a lie and a mere baseless allegation. Obasanjo disproved this allegation recently, Obasanjo had the reports of the probe, not FFK.

He said that 2.8billion went missing under Buhari's watch in 1977. Cheap propaganda and beer parlor talk.

He said that Gani Fawehinmi was the only lawyer that attended the Buhari Administration military tribunals.- This is an half truth, he should have told the un-informed that the NBA boycotted the tribunals.

He said that Nigeria was VOTED the biggest economy in Africa and that this has never happened before.- First, it was not a voting, it was simply rebasing, new calculations take into account changes in production and consumption since the last time the exercise was carried out in 1990, including an added focus on communications and the movie industry. Nigeria has been the giant of Africa long before 1990, it is bad governance that has kept us in the so called doldrums, it is not a big or tangible achievement.

He said that nobody is giving us arms in fighting Boko Haram, and that beating Boko Haram is next to a miracle.- Chad and other countries have being helping us, they are not nobodies. We should quit sulking foolishly that the US troops are not in Nigeria, we can and should have quelled the insurgence a long time ago. Beating Boko Haram is not a miracle, it is unfortunate that the DG of the President Jonathan campaign thinks it is a miracle and attempts to sell it to Nigerians on national TV as a miracle.

He said that we have made gains in the economy and that we never had gains in infrastructural development and workers salary until now.- This is a bare faced lie. Depletion of the foreign exchange reserve and crude reserves are not gains. The Naira exchanging for an all time low of over 205naira to a dollar is not gain, devaluing the naira is not gain. If he is saying we never had gains in infrastructural development and workers salary until now, what again is his timeline, 1960? When?

He said that Jega said it would have been difficult to proceed with elections. Lie, Jega said several times that INEC was ready for elections.

In his final words, he said PDP are not the ones that said that they cannot lose election, their position is fixed and clear. In the next few sentences he contradicted himself insisting that PDP cannot lose the election. His direct words were that "THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, APC will get the beating of their lives all over the country."

Evidently, FFK lacks credibility.

The worst was the characterisation of Buhari' s anti corruption tribunals. We all knew the NPN government that Bhbari overthrew was very corrupt but Fani Kayode was almost defending all of them, import license hawkers, drug smugglers, people who were selling Niger delta oil allocation forms from NNPC in hotels while the owners of the oil were suffering. All these people FFK was defending because of politics.

That they were corrupt wasn't the issue. It's the level of compromise that's the problem. Like they say in Yoruba, the remedy for headache is not cutting off you head. Truncating a democratic government is never an excuse for combatting corruption. Today, without military takeovers, we are all discussing the issues and the way out. Look at the time then till now, one way or other, we would have challenged corruption back then and forged way ahead now. The very same journey and route we would have gone past and survived is what we want and goin thru now.

A man and his past deeds can not be separated. His actions in the past is why we are where we are today. If it was good, the decision would have been unanimous. So let's not yearn for days that really, wasn't good. I still tell people, that we can talk freely and insult even the presidency and still laugh is really a great liberty. That we could not afford under the military regime except you willing to face either a treasonable offence and face dreadful punishments. He past will never leave him, it will always hunt him. It's not magic, that's just life.

Thus my ascertains and convictions that Buhari can't be Nigerian's President not anymore
