FAAN TO COMMENCE TRAINING OF AVIATION FIREMEN SECURITY PERSONNEL.
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria is set to commence intensive training of its Aviation Security, Airport Rescue and Firefighting personnel.
The Managing Director of FAAN, Eng Saleh Dunoma stated this over the weekend during an inspection of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.
He said the strategy is geared towards promoting safety, security and airport excellence based on International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) annex 14 Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPS) and Airport Council International (ACI) Best Practices.
According Eng Dunoma, "the first batch of one hundred personnel drawn from the Aviation Security, Airport Rescue and Firefighting personnel are being shortlisted for the first batch, after which the other six hundred personnel will follow suit".
He said the capacity building will strengthen FAAN's capacity at mitigating safety vulnerabilities identified by the evaluation observed by the regulators, the NCAA.

The go ahead Is not a fresh recruitment order, It's for those new recruits waiting for documentation and training..

Is continuenation of the last recruitment they did !..and 725 is the total numbers of successful candidate waiting for documentation with APL

Which one is secretly again?! They already said they've employed and they'll will call at the appropriate time.. So, all these hear says are rumors by jobless people(sorry to say). Just pray and place your faith in God, He has a reason for the delay. Cause you guys have waited longer than necessary, have patience.. Besides, nothing good comes easy.

Was reading ThisDay newspaper of today where it was reported the will be major shakeup in Aviation industry that MDs and Directors will be replaced... hope this will not affect F.AAN recruitment?

it was closed because of that year rumors about recruitment..I strongly in God every thing will come to pass let have faith in God

Heavy shake up about to take place in aviation sector. So many ogas will go for new ones. I'm praying the so call new ogas will not sub change us the new recruits in FAAN. We need serious prayer cos I'm not comfortable with what about to happen

How do u know this information, and who tell u that Faan is going to recruit again ? When they have not clear dose one at hand ,....pls put more light in ur information

They are not going to recruit again but its likely some top people in FAAN will be removed and in Nigeria when such thing happen the people that comes in will like to bring in their own people and believe mr some names in the new recruits may be sub changed
