Nothing! in fact, you would save more and make yourself a millionaire in the process. it requires your time in knowing and researching your true history , developing yourselves and educating your children accordingly. food is a vital process too, learning how to eat, what to eat, when to eat and how much to eat.

All these quest for fame and impossibly precocious achievements comes with a very heavy price.

Even the heavenly Father clothed in all wisdom did not allow his begotten son to start his ministry until he was about 30.

No matter how brilliant a kid is, there are expectations for different age groups, preping up your kid to start Uni by 10 just does not seem healthy regardless.

I actually pity the little girl, her childhood and by extension her life is being taken away from her by probably narcissistic parents

No one said that 21 million Nigerians are mentally slow.

It was estimated that 21 million people in Nigeria suffer from a variety of mental illness - it could be depression, it could be dementia, aspergers or it could be schizophrenia. None of those mean that a person is 'slow'.

The problem is that it often goes undiagnosed or worse, the sufferer is placed in the hands of religious charlatans for the purposes of 'deliverance' and other such stupid practices.

I have cousins who were (and others that are being) home schooled, all of them entered college before they were 17.

Sending children to school often means leaving them to pick up the bad habits of their peers and having to deal with the ignorance of their teachers.

The Anglo-Saxon system holds our children back. Those that can should teach their own children.

This is one of the best threads I've ever read on this forum. I wish her great success in her studies.

Kudos to the girl & her parents for seeing her talent and investing in it. Let this be an inspiration for parents and teacher to stimulate girls to develop their talents. For too long, girls are told that marriage and housekeeping is their nature and destiny.
If we want to change a nation, we need our women on top! Mothers are often the cornerstones of successful families. There are many successful businesswomen in the country. The only hope for change in Nigeria is when we get those freaky talented women on top to rule the nation with their talents instead of the leadership of ego's and pride that we have seen for too long!

No offense to guys, we need your contribution as well, we need all talents, but men have just proved for centuries that in power positions their approach was not working, too little collaboration and too much corruptness in leadership. It is time for female talents, where men talk about change, i believe women are the change. And no, it wont be flawless, because we are all human in the end, but I think it is worth it the experiment.

She's probably not going to get a real degree but be made to attempt some degree level mathematics.
That's why her admission was limited to an open university.

Brilliant kid, but most Nigerian kids are more brilliant than this, she has been studying only mathematics since her birth unlike here where you are studying more than 7 subjects even as a kid.
