Wow! Just watched the Honorable Minister of Aviation on BBC Hardtalk.

Very Impressed! First time I saw a Nigerian Minister or High Government official not being intimidated by these biased foreign journalist.

Took the journalist to the cleaners with his very articulate responses.

I was impressed too... to an extent. However, Osita Chidoka said that the abducted Chibok schoolgirls still being held by militant Islamist group Boko Haram are likely to have been dispersed and may or "may not” be found. Meanwhile, GEJ was on AIT assuring us that the girls are alive (and well?). “The good news is that the insurgents have not killed them,” Jonathan said. Questions galore? Well, fingers crossed... after all, the Chibok girls' problem is every Nigerian's problem. God bless Nigeria.

he did a good job

just watched it. He held his own.

My favourite point of his interview is "the best way to fight corruption is to bring sunlight into Government activities and the FOI bill did that"

These BBC journalists always feed on anything negative about Nigeria. Nothing positive.

The way she was reeling out negative vibes, questions and statistics, you will think Nigeria was a poster country for a horrible, horrible place.

But the Hon. Minister rather than being intimidated, ended up soaking all her pressures and intimidating her.

Terrible, biased Oyibo journalists that I bet have never visited Nigeria but have the most negative and biased views about Nigeria.

But for once, a top Nigerian government official not only stood his ground but politely and articulately deflected all those negative vibes and put her in her place. Nice one Hon. Minister.

To be fair this is the concept of Hardtalk and the show. The show is a good example of "Devils Advocate". It does not mean the interviewer shares these views!

Since Osita is a Government official Hardtalk will research on all the vibes and arguments the Nigerian opposition will put forward against the Government.

If Osita was an APC man Hardtalk will be defending the Government and questioning the opposition record.

Thats the concept of the show
