My 2013/2014 Experience by Oluwaskilashi(m): 12:19pm On Mar 08, 2015
When i graduated from University of Uyo i was so positive i would still be in close contact with my cliques(Pàty, Fàshé, Imà) and my peanut butter(Eñø) but NYSC came along and threw us to different part of the country. I braced myself to the challenges awaiting me at Anambra, during the three weeks in camp i flirted between the Band and the Dance & Drama group, caused plenty of trouble in my Platoon which i nicknamed "Three Plantain" had great buddies like Francis a.k.a J.S.Park whom i nicknamed "Grass cutter"(but na joke o!),Jude a.k.a J-
Slim,Hon Kay,Femi,Aity,Amos 33(my real nigga that sees visions each time he hits the bottle),had the 'best' hall in camp (Independence Hostel),couldn't pass out faeces for two weeks which Amos 33 declared 2 days deliverance for me,i courted Sèyí invited her to mammy market but she brought company along(bad market ba),liked Eñìølã(but she was too spirikoko). I remember our variety night i was General Gowon(the name followed me throughout service)i wore a full military khaki 1st in my life(boy my head swell dat night),camp was so fun but the
parades & early morning devotions are too much troubles for us especially our state coordinator (Ayama Supepe! she can wori).
My PPA was a girls secondary school(dey said bobs u go give ppl children belly) till i left the school I didn't have any nkechi or
chiamaka as concubine( dem say my English dey scatter deir head),i was in constant fight with my HOD(fellow corpers said it
was love! such love),i stayed with the RCCF(Redeemed Christian Corpers Fellowship) before i moved to my apartment (Evon Lounge) had a great neighbour (Chef Lèmbãýö) who can cook for Africa while in the Redeemed family house i was that brother that doesn't wanna serve to God with all of him,i met befriended & eventually dated a sister there(Olola Mi) some other sisters beefed our union,i had a special Friday evenings spot which i fellowship with my guy "Swãggü"(Y junction assembly),went to mbaukwu every weekend hooked up with greats fams(Cøøzèý, Xris,Làidé(who nicknamed me Starchy coz i can starch eh),Nsqüãré, Lãdý Gbãský-my NYSC official wife) at Ezeike high school. CDS was fun coz all we had to do was bring out the drums and make plenty of noise,i did become the general secretary of my CDS group had crazy peeps like Tãìýe, Yømì, Nèýø, Utý, Efècíøüs,Newton,Alata(Uncle bear bear) as batch B frontiers. I chased two girls in publicity CDS (Becca & Dãrbý) dem tire 4 me,every Thursday was my hugging day(I can hug eh especially those endowed girls chai i miss dem gehls)
Service ended amidst tears, relationships got the boots(especially for boys in my batch who had girls in other batch),i forgot to collect phone numbers of girls with potentials,i lost all my passing out pictures. I went to my 1st interview 3months after service got my 1st job few days after,i met great peeps at Vconnect & i liked a lady from a distance whom my colleague franklin nicknamed "Dark Bae",mimicked my Indian boss only to find him behind me. Mehn am missing my 2013/2014 adventures wished i could get 1week of my university days and my anambra conquest...Hmmmmm.so for my mind now i dey write best seller abeg who sabi any publisher. # No orijin to sip today.
