‎Why Jonathan wanted to Speak with The Moroccans!

“It is true that President Jonathan has been speaking with some African leaders to seek their support for Nigeria’s candidate for the position of President of the African Development Bank (AfDB).
“In continuation of his efforts in support of the candidacy of the Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina for headship of the AfDB, President Jonathan indicated that he would like to speak with the King of Morocco, the President of Algeria and the President of Egypt. Excerpt from the statement issued by  President Jonathan!

‎As an Arab country language barrier might have been the main reason why a friendly approach for support for a candidate for the AFDB  seems to have escalated into a diplomatic row !
Morroco and its naive King went too far same goes for the ignorant Nigerian foreign affairs officials who never bothered to cross check thierr facts  on who was actually spoken to.

For the records a phone call between president Jonathan confers no advantage whatsoever on the President  one wonders why the young King was so hasty to reach such conclusions, apart from football most Nigerians don't even know where Morroco is on the African Map!

Jonathan blaming Nigerians for his failure. Jonathan has a lot of affinity for incompetence. He now wants to sacrifice the only shining light in his administration. The Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina is the only useful spark in Jonathan's cabin, that is the flame he want to burn off. What a shame.
