Expose PVC fraudsters, Alao-Akala tells INEC
Former Oyo State Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala, along with
the All Progressives Congress (APC), have called upon the Oyo
State Police Command and the Independent National Electoral
Commission (INEC) to expose a man allegedly found in
possession of 500 Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in Ogbomoso
on Saturday.
Reacting to a report of a man found with PVCs in Ogbomoso,
Alao-Akala said that the act of stealing the cards was an
expression of fear on the part of opposition parties, PUNCH
reports.
Alao-Akala called for all guilty parties to be prosecuted and
punished according to the laws of the country.
Adekunle Ajisebutu, PR Officer for the Police, however, has
come out as saying that the perpetrator has been arrested and
was only found in possession of 10 Temporary Voter Cards and
4 PVCs.
Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state Rufus Akeju has
said that INEC are currently conducting an investigation into
the matter before they make any decisions.
Reacting to the news, the APC in Oyo State has alleged that
certain influential members of the ruling party may have
compromised some officials in INEC, resulting in the diversion
of registered PVCs to unknown sources.

Can't forget wen he was campaigning for 2nd time, he was passing thru iwo rd with his thugs holding diff harmful weapons, u need to see au pple re running helter n skelter. Dnt no wat was going on, as i alighted from my bus, just saw dat iwo rd was cleared as if dey re doing environmental. So lucky, i wasn't amidst of it bt was hearing his serene,

see there's more to his defection to the LabourParty. TKF is so desperate to become a governor and the likes of David Mark didn't want him to come back to the senate house in order not to interrupt his position as the senate president. Oyo PDP planned to zone the governorship candidate to Oyo Central senatorial district that's why Akala persuaded Ayo Adeseun to re-join PDP in order to support him to win the primary election because Adeseun is also from Ogbomoso. He didn't even attend the primary because they didn't conduct free and fair election. Don't forget Engr Seyi Makinde also left the party because of this. There was a case concerning the Primary in the court of law then and the exco still went ahead to conduct the primary election. Let's join hands together and restore the lost glory of Oyo my sister.
