YES, SOMETHING MUST BE WRONG WITH THE YORUBA NATION.

These same people who have always claimed to be on the frontline of wisdom, supported and voted a known ROGUE who was booted out of office for abuse of office and financial misappropriation cases hung on his neck like Silver coated shackles, Mr. Peter Ayodele Fayose as governor in Ekiti State.

These same people supported and voted in Sen. Iyiola Omisore who has a murder case on his neck like a Gold shackle as Senator from prison but could not win the gubernatorial race in the State of Osun.

These same people are supporting Sen. Teslim Folarin who achieved virtually nothing as a serving Senator and he who also has a murder case on his neck like a Diamond plated shackles.

These same people are routing for a wanted drug trafficker in the United Kingdom, Buruji Kashamu for Senator in a senatorial district in Ogun State.

As a people of the Yoruba nation, we need not mask our faces in attempts to waive our absurdity or justify them but bury our heads in shame.

Even the pro-GEJ supporters in the South-South have not taken their support for the continuity of the failed incumbent administration to the extreme like some of our youths and leaders have done and are doing.

These same people are routing for the continuity of a known clueless man in our most prestigious Aso Villa, Abuja, as against the vice presidential candidacy of their own son, Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN).

These same people have eventually surrendered their supposed refuge (Oodua Peoples Congress) to the Peoples Democratic Party, all for their personal gains and self aggrandizement.

I am really perturbed and unhappy, something must be wrong with the Yoruba nation.

The Yoruba nation must retract their errors and save the future of our unborn cities.

Spreads mat.
Modified: Op see as u insult ur nation only because u want ur kinsman to be a vp. Politics is all about interests, the yorubas supporting pdp have reasons why they r doing so likewise the apc supporters. For the fact u support apc doesn't mean the whole tribe much join u.

Patriotically speaking, a Buhari's Presidency is one where every section of this country has a stake and as a product of mass movement, its impact will be very thorough and positive. The entire North, the SW, SS and the SE all have a stake in it. Nigerians will merry.

And strategically from the SW perspective, an APC victory brings a lot of opportunities for the SW than the untrusted promises of a zoologist who is well known for not keeping promises. It is better for the SW to be policy makers than just hope for crumbs to fall from the table of Jonathan.

Truly I envy the opportunity before because them because the last we came that close was when Dr. Alex Ekwueme was VP to Shagari in the late '70s.

A vote for Buhari is a victory for Democracy and Nigeria and a bold statement to Nigeria politicians that if you don't perform, we kick you out. It also proves that looting all your tenure and sharing dollars in the dieing minute will not cover your failures.

#Change.

OP, there is nothing wrong in supporting any candidate of your choice. You can start raising this alarm when the majority is supporting who you feel is a wrong candidate.
I understand you though, but what if you are from that part of the country that put religion and sentiment first when it comes to political issue?

Who is he a "slave" of? The way you guys throw insults here and there is funny. The same collaboration between the SW and the North is the same you have between the SE and the SS. All this divisive politics will lead nowhere.

Nigerians are united for Change.

Something terrible is in the offing in Yorubaland with the resurgence of the hitherto dead OPC, no thanks to GEJ/PDP and their lust for power.

OP . . you raise some good points!

However DO NOT BE DECEIVED!!. . . The FEW YORUBAS who appear to be supporting the "clueless one" are in the MINORITY and most of them are doing it because they don't want to miss their share of the National Cake!

Think about it. .
(1) Ooni of ife (and a few irrelevant Obas). . recall the Ooni of Ife supported Abacha's attempt to self-perpetuate himself! Yes, not many people remember this because a lot of so-called analysts now are young people who missed history classes. So many Yorubas who KNOW remember the acts of the Ooni. He was on the wrong side of history then. He is on the WRONG side today still.

(2) Afenifere. . they "support" GEJ because he promised to implement the confab report. LOOOLLLLLL!! Was the conference SOVEREIGN? No!! Will the report have to be passed through the National assembly? Yes!! Where has the PIB been? Stuck in the National Assembly for YEARS!!! And the confab report will be implemented. . LLLOOOLLLLLL!! Many yorubas know this and have ignored the afenefere "endorsement"

(3) OPC. . LOL!! You called them our "supposed refuge"!! haha. . . The display by the OPC in lagos today (to justify the dollars paid them) and the OUTRAGE that followed it by lagosians should tell you the yoruba people's perception of OPC!! WE HATE OPC!! They are the last people to convince us! In any case, I know many OPC members who are ignoring Gani!! CONFIRMED!!

So, you make some good points on fayose, Kushumu etc. . but clueless one, forget! the yoruba Nation is WISE!! Ask Around.

Cheers
