Have not used COASTAL but my last servicing was with Mobil One 5w 30.
Noticed better Engine sound and better acceleration.
Not going back to anything less than that

Later discovered the actual price is 10k

Never used 5w-30 but i am using coastal 5w-20 and its a wonderful experience on my 2yrs+car from improved accélération to fuel economy and engine sound

Coastal 5w30 SN synthetic oil. No engine noise, great engine performance. I'm not an advert agent, I am speaking from experience

To the best of my knowledge Coastal manufactures its synthetic blend oils using group 2 base oil stock. Mobil, Castrol, to name a few use group 3 base oil. The higher the base oil group the better the oil.

This is not to say that Coastal won't do the job but the OP last year asked this same questions about MileMaster which uses group 3 base oil stocks last year and decided not to use it based on some comments on that thread.

On every thread you will find people who have had good and nasty experiences. It never ends. The confusion goes on for the mere fact that we are all working under different circumstances being affected by a wide range of variables.

Just conduct a bit of research on your own. Go to Coastal's website. They will be able to provide you with their data sheet. Compare it with those of Mobil, Castrol, Milemaster, etc. That should serve as a starting point. Go to pqiamerica.com. Compare the chemical composition of coastal versus the others. That should also help.

I am using the same engine oil for my 08 corolla. Coastal 5w30 is the best engine oil i have ever used for the car. Fuel efficiency has been so great, engine performance has been mind blowing. Is there a particular reason that you focused on this brand?

I will not use Coastal of any weight even in my Weed Whacker.

as far as i know, the coastal 5w-30 being marketed here in Nigeria is SYNTHETIC BLEND(semi synthetic as you call it ), coastal is made by Warren, and they have a full synthetic line called Lubrigold, they also have coastal dexos which is also full synthetic but it isn't common here
