The project started in 2012 and was completed in 2015 costly about USD400 million, compared to Nigeria where our past governments have wasted over USD12 billion. Nigerians, let us put sentiment aside, how can a country without as much resources as us, complete such a project in 3 years, yet, successive governments in Nigeria have been wasting our resources on 2nd hand trains and less effective rail lines - (said by Doyin Okupe recently that Nigeria cannot afford brand new trains, only 2nd hand trains). In the videos, the Light rail operates on electricity - how can this be - as still in 2015, Nigeria cannot have constant power for 24 hours. We have really been shortchanged by our leaders and we need a change of government, will it PDP or APC or even KOWA....the answer lies with us... |
