Recently, in an interview, the JAMB boss has said that candidates were on their own if they can’t use a computer system. These were his exact words below… ‘ The national curriculum on computer education is there, if they are not exposed to it, that is their problem. But I’m saying that is not even the matter. I’m saying if you can use your handset, you can do computer based test. All it says is: here are the questions. What is your response? Then you click or you touch it, either you use the mouse or you press the button A, B,C or D for the answer and then the next question comes up.’ he said this after been asked a question on why JAMB didn’t wait till students have computer based curricula before introducing the compulsory CBT test. http://acadablog.com/if-candidates-cant-use-computers-its-their-problem-dibu-ojerinde-jamb-boss/ 1 Share

The management of the university of ilorin has denied sending some girls back during the just concluded post utme examination for indecent dressing. The deputy vice chancellor Prof.(mrs) N.Y.S. Ijaiya stated that candidates were already aware of the school's dress code and regulations through its website and had no reason to be sent back. She also said that those who dressed indecently through wearing of short skirts were only counselled and emphasized that they were never sent back. Recall that the school was reported to have sent back about four post utme candidates due to indecent dressing. |
