Dear Jamb, I once wrote an article concerning the impromptu postponement of this year photocard reprinting HERE but it wasn't made visible to the general public. Here I am again with another article, I am Gbokiki Olamilekan Sunday with Jamb registration number (56697634JA). Am not a genius neither am I a nerd, am just a normal student but am very sure that there was a mistake in my exam script, I had prepared hard for this examination and shouldn't be jeopardized. There were many sleepless nights,days with empty stomach, days with chewing gum, I devoted everything I had for the success of this exam. I solved, read different note books and textbook, did brainstorming with fellow jamb candidates so as to get prepared for the exam. Before the D day, I had reminisced all I had read, solved, done just to be very sure that I was prepared and the exam was not shere shere and God really helped by making me remembered it all. On the D day, I showered happily, singing aloud songs of praises, believing in God for a good atmosphere, ability to remember all I had read and at the end of the day,a good result. All was well at the examination centre, my exam was scheduled for 10:00am but we were delayed due to some issues, the exam kicked off at 1:30pm, I did the normal procedure, typed in my registration number, read the instructions and started the examination with "Uses Of English". I started smiling when I got to the novel/literature section"The Last Days At Forcados High School". I remembered all that I had read and chose the correct answers, proceeded to the next questions which was the Lexis, Structure And Oral Forms and my face was covered with smile because the same question asked was what I answered a day before the exam in the past question year 2004 question paper type R. I proceeded to my next subject which was mathematics, solved nothing less than 40 questions correctly because I remembered counting it one after the other and did the rest. Did physics and chemistry and I was still left with 30 minutes. I went through my questions again and after seeing that I was good to go, I submitted, thanked God for answering my prayers and I logged out leaving about 20 minutes or so on the computer. I smiled, stood up and went for the exit, I thumbprinted and left the exam hall. I called my people, told them about what happened. All I could say was thank you God after the exam believing that jamb has been conquered. I was still sleeping at night,dreaming about my first day in Unilag (my desired school of choice), and was interrupted with the msg tone of my phone, woke up, checked the phone and I saw a msg from Jamb2015. I widely opened my eyes, opened the message and I saw my supposed 260 Jamb score as 197. I waited for 2 days before the same result was posted on the website, I wrote Jamb last year but didn't complain when the result came out because it was just an average preparation but why this year. This is a cbt type of examination and there shouldn't be mistake but don't know where the result error came from. I believed 197 isn't my score 'cause I prepared hard for the exam. In a nut shell, all I want is my real score, my exam should be marked again and I know all will be well. Thank You. By Gbokiki Olamilekan Sunday |

well i guess it might be an error of omission too,a student of mine,saw 176 on her phone has her jamb score,just like u she was flabbergasted and couldn't believe wat she saw,she find her way into d cybercafe only 2 check again lo!and behold! She met 228,another person dt i knw,saw 154 his fone but wn he checked d internet he met 200,i guess jamb mistakenly post 3 subjects result instead of 4,so go try confirm.however,i so much lik ur courage.keep it up as u navigate through success. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Dude, I understand how it feels, I remember 2013 when I wrote mine...prior to d exam I had read Ababio Chemistry text book 3 times, comprehensive chemistry once And essential 2 times.... I evn did da q and. a from 1978-2012 ...I was feeling 100% ready... I ansad well as my legendary Chemistry teacher affirmed any way Chemistry came as My lowest score as 40 I was demoralized, Any dat is by-gone.... 197 is a good score though |

Bro,I can feel your pains right now. I remember last year when I did mine and was anticipating at least 250.surprised I was when I saw 179. What could I do? I just got over with it and process Poly admission with the result. I am now an ND1 student of Mass Communication at Rufus Giwa Poly. I re-wrote JAMB again this year and I had 261 even when I was in the middle of school exams. My advice for u is just to forget it and think of what next quickly. Brother, you are not the only victim of circumstances here, a lot of people falls into your category in fact I am somehow in your category just that I had a good score but not what I expected, I believe there is an error too. The only thing to do now is to forget it and think of an alternative, this Jamb is no exam as far as I am concerned. About 4 questions in Total there was no answer one has the same option for A and D what do you expect me to choose. There is error in the exam jor. |

I was giving 190. Though i know i was ill-prepared, but i know i couldn't have scored that low. Before the exam, i was depending on maths nd english to boost my score. These two are like my best subjects. Nd i knew my physics nd chemistry would be low. When i did the exam, i did english nd maths perfectly but just rushed through physics nd chemistry with the little time i had left. After 3hrs i got a text that i scored 190. I didn't bother, because i thought i probally scored very high in maths nd english, but low in physics nd chemistry. But on checking the breakdown of the result in a cafe today, they gave me 46 in english, and 53 in maths. This is when i knew something was definitely wrong. Cos i couldnt have scored this low in these subjects which i took my time nd patience to do. I even got 47 in chemistry which i rushed through. So why's my english nd maths that low? How's this possible? I came to the conclusion that that is not my result! I'm seriously waiting nd hoping they correct those scores! |
