If Buhari wins this election and fumbles way more than Jonathan, that is when I will become a Buhari supporter and all those bigoted, myopic and tribalistic beings that voted him in will get seriously tormented by me.

I choose PDP..

Can we compare Jonathan and Buhari please?

Tell me the failures of GEJ and I counter with the failure of GMB as a military head and petroleum minister, that is if you won't chicken out like your boss. By the way, present me with facts and links while I do same.

Failures of GMB as a military head? A man that spent less than 2 years as military head? After 5 years of unbridled corruption in Shagari's administration? And yet he still acted!

You want to compare that record to a man that has spent 60 months as President and additional 24 months as VP? Presided over unprecedented oil revenues?

I will leave you with the title of a UK telegraph article: Nigerian election: 'Better an ex-dictator than a weak president'

You have forgotten GMB served as a petroleum minister, as a PTF chair and governor of north eastern state.

And even if you want to hold on to the two years rule, he actually cause several calamities that can be compared to the failures of today. The damage he caused in barely 2 years rule is almost worst than that we have experienced in recent times.

I don't need any biased UK stuff to know Buhari was a failure. Every facts are there in Wikipedia and other sites. I'd rather hold on to a concrete info of the past than hold on to an image maker of our present days.

Read about Buhari and his biased administration coupled with the killings, imprisonment and intimidation of innocent Nigerians leaving his Fulani brothers on the loose.

Read about how he carted away with our $2.8billion dollars and how he cunningly payed in money into the military account.

And so much more. Use Wikipedia, if you want more info, contact other links through Wikipedia. Don't forget to read how he retrenched 200,000 civil servants, made about 70,000 graduates jobless and crumbled various businesses.

Peace.

I'm tired of disputing the same old lies. $2.8billion missing? This was investigated and was found to be a ruse.
His activities as PTF boss has received wide acclaim. Contrast that to Sure-P. Retrenchment is what happens in a downturn and it's what will happen after the elections. For the past 4 years of GEJ admin, despite high oil prices, we've been regaled with stories of banks downsizing. With the current economic situation, companies are waiting for the election to be over to downsize. Let's assume he retrenched 200,000 which I don't take as fact, doesn't this show he had a firm grasp of the economy and was willing to do what needed to do to prevent it from collapsing. Or why do you think Obama presided over very high jobless rate numbers in his first few years? You say he rendered 70000 youths graduates jobless cos there were no jobs. Contrast that to today where every family in Nigeria has at least one jobless graduate. Millions are on the street. I won't be surprised if you are one of the millions. Where are the facts you have mentioned that are on Wikipedia? You just regurgitated bunch of lies that's littered all over nairaland. The only places you will find these lies is nairaland and dodgy websites when you do a google search.

Talk about Jonathan. Very high oil prices, no accretion in foreign reserves. Sanusi as CBN governor couldn't understand why, that's why he cried out about the $20bn missing which Soludo estimates as much as 30trn naira is missing.
Talk about his handling of terrorist. He said its our turn to experience terrorist attacks rather than act tough. He denied MEND as responsible for Oct 1st bombing only to claim 5 years after that they wanted to assassinate him.
I've done a thread about corruption in GEJ's government and it's mind boggling. I don't need to repeat those facts here.
He's a weak, ineffective leaders. He's sectional and divisive. Explain why he's giving a separatist organisation contracts?

We can't be deceived. Change is coming.

If it were a ruse like you said, why was there still lapses in the account after investigation? Mind you, the incompetent tribunal of then can't be compared to that of now. I said this because you can't declare someone not guilty but still have lapses in the account. Now where is your evidence that $20billion went missing during GEJ's rule?

His activities as PTF boss has received wide acclaim. Contrast that to Sure-P.

Yes it was acclaimed because you dare not fault someone working under Abacha's regime and mind you, even with that, checkout this extract from Wiki:
A 1998 report in New African praised the PTF under Buhari for its transparency, calling it a rare "success story".However, the same report also noted that critics had questioned the PTF's allocation of 20% of its resources to the military, which the critics feared would not be accountable for the revenue.
He transfered 20% of the PTF resources to the military (Abacha's account), this simply means that he gravely aided Abacha's massive looting!

I pointed out the retrenchment to show you the big similarities between his and GEJ's administration. Now there was massive retrenchment even in the so-called "highly acclaimed military regime, check very well in those days, the common civil servant suffered from retrenchment, businesses suffered, graduates suffered but in all sense, the wealthy were still wealthy and the holly children of the Fulani military government were'nt affected.

It's easier for us to say that we didn't benefit from GEJ's administration as if government is about personal favours but then, we forget that the masses didn't benefit personally from GMB's administration too. An administration that thought it right to cancel a metroline project in Lagos, abandon Ajaokuta steel in Kogi state but constructed roads of which over 90% where in the core north.

He retrenched 200,000 and that's a fact. Wiki told you that, and you don't know better than Wiki. He wanted to manage and maintain the Nigerian moneys into a few accounts. Don't make this man appear holy because if he was that holy, we would have known and would have massively voted him in right from year 2003.

There were only a few educated people/graduates then, so if 70k were without jobs, don't you think it was alarmingly high? Well, so, you didn't see the issues of funds misappropriation, 53 suitcases saga, Fela saga, etc on Wiki? Also, I will advice you to read from links Wikipedia referenced from because Wikipedia can't reference from a dodgy website or that with wrong info.

Talk about Jonathan. Very high oil prices, no accretion in foreign reserves. Sanusi as CBN governor couldn't understand why, that's why he cried out about the $20bn missing which Soludo estimates as much as 30trn naira is missing.

Where is your proof that it's $20billion missing? If you still think there wasn't any $2.8billion missing during GMB's time as petroleum minister even with the lapses noticed by the incompetent tribunal, I will as well be inclined not to believe money went missing during GEJ's administration. If you believe that since GMB's time as PTF chair was acclaimed therefore let's make light of the fact that he bundled 20% of the Nigerian money into the military account illegally, then I could be inclined to make light of the contracts awarded by GEJ, whether wrongly awarded or not.

Talk about his handling of terrorist. He said its our turn to experience terrorist attacks rather than act tough. He denied MEND as responsible for Oct 1st bombing only to claim 5 years after that they wanted to assassinate him.

We all know most northern Muslims supported BH's cause when they were still bombing churches. I was in the north, I heard a lot of things and I saw a lot too. Even on social network, those northern Muslims that couldn't hide their joy took to social media to jubilate the BH victory. Then they would even help in hiding useful info that could have helped capture BH. The northern Muslims have only cried out in one voice against BH because now they bomb public places and mosques inclusive. How is/was it MEND that carried out the October bombing? Give facts please and post reliable links.

I've done a thread about corruption in GEJ's government and it's mind boggling. I don't need to repeat those facts here.

I've made some statement's about GMB's corrupt practices in a not so incorruptible administration. GMB jailed Fela for legitimately possessing foreign currency paid to him after his show abroad but set free Emir Gwandu for possession of 53 suitcases stacked with $700million. After his coup, he jailed Ekwueme, the then vice president and placed the president Shehu Shagari under house ar(rest). Does it mean his friends are immune to his anti corruption practices? If so, it means the crooks in APC will not only be let loose on the Nigerian economy but will buy out Nigeria in a space of four years.

If you claim upright and incorruptible, then treat everyone equally. Don't give your friends or kinsmen special treatment because they are Fulani. You can feed your eyes with this page referenced by Wikipedia:

http://www.transparentnigeria.com/news_entries/9088/S-H-O-C-K-I-N-G-5-starnge-things-you-never-knew-about-Buhari-–-By-Nzeribe-Enz

He's a weak, ineffective leaders. He's sectional and divisive. Explain why he's giving a separatist organisation contracts?

Buhari is autocratic and a tyrant, bigoted, sentimentally biased fellow. Evidence is there on Wikipedia of how he wrongly jailed and executed people, both inoccent and guilty and how he banned wellmeaning bodies. He did say Muslims should vote for Muslims right? Did he also say "dogs and baboons will be soaked in blood"? Who are the dogs and baboons? Southerners?

Buhari awarded contracts to which set of people if I may ask? He would never award contracts to any other but his friends, family members, etc.

We can't be deceived. Change is coming.

You have already successfully deceived yourself that change is coming when we all know that nothing will change. There's nothing that will be better in a Buhari presidency else, the people that voted in OBJ who performed woefully from 1999-2003 wouldn't have massively voted OBJ but would have rather voted for Buhari.

Let's stop deceiving ourselves and stop waiting on a man who enjoyed image making to come deliver us from our troubles.
