Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State, has declared that the chieftains of the All Progressives Con­gress (APC), are its Presi­dential candidate’s greatest enemies in the country.

He made the declaration at his Abuja Home at the week­end, in an encounter with Daily Sun, while reacting to the allegation by the APC’s presidential campaign organ­isation’s spokesman, Mallam Garba Shehu, that Lamido, had after an alleged meeting with President Jonathan and Vice President Namadi Sam­bo, concluded plans to grant a radio interview, where he (Lamido) was expected to run down the party’s Presidential candidate, General Muham­madu Buhari (retd).

When asked to react to the allegation, Lamido told Daily Sun that all what the APC said in the allegation, were the things they had all along been peddling against Buhari, with the sole aim of destroying him. “They are now only us­ing my name to make pub­lic their own feelings about Buhari, because in the North today, all those angling to be President, especially within the APC, see Buhari as their greatest obstacle, as such they need to destroy him for them to make any headway. Insist­ing that he needs not consult with anyone, including Presi­dent Jonathan, before he could speak his mind on any national issue in the country, Lamido, further said: “ In the North today, especially in the APC, they have about three camps: Atiku, Kwankwaso and Bu­hari. Now, Kwankwaso and Atiku are already thinking that should Buhari win this elec­tion, he would have blocked their chances of giving the Presidency a shot in 2019, as such they are not happy over the development. So, they are looking for means and ways of running him down. And that is exactly what they are now do­ing. “You know, because of the nature of the party and the fall­out of their primaries, which was a bitter contest between Buhari and Atiku especially, they see Buhari as a threat to their future ambitions.”

So, they set out to demo­nise Buhari. “Don’t forget that all along they have been demonising Buhari among their followers, so, they have just revealed what is in their minds, using me as a person. “Everything they have said, they have been saying it se­cretly against Buhari.

“They have only decided to use me as a conduit pipe, to make it public. They believe that they must destroy Buhari to realise their ambitions. I have every cause to fight Bu­hari.”

I think the person u should say this about is atiku. From the look of things kwakwanso and atiku would be indifferent towards the course of buhari

Atiku has never hidden his agenda of being the president which honestly, i don't see it happening. Kwankanso, probably might still have a chance. My main concern is who wins this presidential election and i am camping with his Excellency Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. Wish Buhari well but i honestly don't believe in him. GEJ all the way.
