Miyetti Allah names Jonathan as Life Patron, endorses him for re-election6President Goodluck Jonathan has urged Nigerians to stop celebrating people with ill-gotten wealth in order to discourage corruption in the country.
Jonathan, who participated in the Presidential Debate organised by the Nigeria Elections Debate Group (NEDG) on Sunday in Abuja, said Nigerians should change their attitude towards primitive accumulation of wealth.

He said that his government has introduced e-payment system in the country to stop the flow of raw cash and diversion of funds to reduce embezzlement.

Jonathan said the method he used in fighting corruption was prevention, strengthening of institutions and re-orientation of the people.

“Nigerians should change their mentality and condemn people with ill-gotten wealth.

“What we see is a situation where somebody gets wealth illegally and goes to his village and they give him a chieftaincy title.

“In the government circle, we used the IPPIS; no more use of raw cash; it cuts across all sectors and in that case you stop people from stealing public fund.”

According to Jonathan, the government has tackled irregularities that characterised the supply of fertiliser to Nigerian farmers.

Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida

The "evil genius" recently endorsed the 2nd term bid of Goodluck Jonathan. In 1993, IBB annuled the Presidential Election won by Moshood K. Abiola of SPD. The election was adjuged to be the freeest and fairest election. Moshood Abiola was later to be jailed and murdered along with his wife Kudirat by Abacha's Administration. Interestingly, his ADC Col. Sambo Dasuki is Jonathan's National Security Adviser and His National Security Adviser General Aliyu Gusau is Jonathan's Minister of Defense.

Chief Tony Anenih

Also called "Mr. Fix it". He is infamous for fixing elections. He served as Works Minister under the Administration of Olusegun Obasanjo for three years. Under his watch, BILLIONS of Naira was allocated to tackling our Federal roads with Nothing to show on ground. No prosecution whatsoever. Anenih was Appointed the Chairman of Nigeria Port Authority by Jonathan Administration. House of Representatives accused the NPA of diverting N160 billion of revenue supposed to be remitted to the Federation Account, in accordance with Section 162 of the Constitution. No investigation, No Sack, No Prosecution. Anenih still remains in his Position as Chair of NPA Board and He is also the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the PDP. He's a major pro Goodluck's reelection

Comrade Abba Moro, Minister of Interior

His Ministry conducted the Immigration exercise that led to the death of Young Nigerians after they have made Interior Ministry N6b Richer. Despite Protest calling for his sack from all sections including the Senate, House of Representatives, opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Jonathan refused to investigate him nor relieve him. Asked why the stampede that accompanied the disgraceful immigration exercise, Moro responded “The applicants lost their lives due to impatience; they did not follow the laid-down procedures spelt out to them before the exercise”

Prof Onyebuchi Chukwu, Minister of Health

In 2008 Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu was dismissed as the Chief Medical Officer of Ebonyi University Teaching Hospital due to an uncovered fraud of over 36 Million Naira. President Jonathan appointed him Health Minister.

Alhaji Salisu Buhari

He was a former Speaker of House of Representative in 1999 that was accused and convicted of "Toronto University certificate forgery". He was impeached and kicked out from the house. In 2013, Jonathan Appointed him as Member of UNN Governing Council.

Senator Ali Modu Sheriff

A very strong Ally of Jonathan even during his ANPP days. He is alleged to be the brain behind the BokoHaram Group in Borno State that has turned into insurgency in the North East. Sheriff has neither been questioned nor properly investigated nor cleared by any court of competent jurisdiction. The Controversial politician is a Right Hand Man of the Jonathan's Administration.

Mohammed Abacha
He is the Son of the Late Maximum ruler Sani Abacha. Billions of Naira was looted through the Abacha Family and even Mohammed. Corruption and Money Laundering case was instituted against him by the Obasanjo's regime but was withdrawn by the Jonathan's Government. He is a Chieftain of PDP and a strong campaigner for Jonathan's reelection.

$90m loan spending: FOI Act not applicable to Lagos •Fashola tells court

Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State has told a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos that he intended to file a preliminary objection challenging the suit by a civil society group, seeking to compel him to release information relating to how government spent the $90 million loan obtained for improving public schools in the state.

The state Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Ade Ipaye, at the resumed hearing in the matter before Justice Saliu Saidu, hinted of the government’s intention to challenge the suit, in addition to a counter-affidavit he earlier filed in opposition to the suit.

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) instituted the suit against Fashola and Ipaye, and prayed the court to compel the governor to disclose how the loan allegedly obtained from the World Bank for education in the state was spent.

SERAP had argued that it resorted to suing the governor and the Attorney-General after the government refused to honour its letter dated December 1, 2013, requesting for the information brought in pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act 2011.

But Ipaye had, in a counter-affidavit, opposed the suit, arguing that the FoI Act was not applicable to Lagos State, because the law was a federal legislation.

Where is the change when the same set of people I was thought in school as past leadersare still the future ones vying for post today when we have fresh younger ones that can perform. These same set of people label themselves crusader of anti corruption evenwhen they are the ones that plunged Nigeria into where we are today. Buhari ousted a democraticaly elected presidentfor his selfish interest and rulednigeria heavy handedlyand dictatorialy. once you speak ill of his Government its either you are jailed or summarily executed. I remember my uncleonce told me about the killing ofsome of the officials ofthe defunct NEPA who embarked on strike due to totalneglect of the sector. and also the killing of innocent protesting students staging a peaceful protest. Billions of dollar was misappropriated during his regime. There are many more of his grevious inhuman act. Im sorry to say this with no reserved apology 'Buhari is a saddist'. On the other hand im not saying Jonathan nor the PDP are saints. But one is far better than the other. I wil vote the man that gave freedom of speech to evencriticize his government: some of us even go as far as verbally insulting hispersonality. I will vote the man that reformed thepower sector :I now enjoy atleast 18 hours of electricity a day, I wil vote the man that transformed the transport sector, education sector, agric sector, industry and commerce.
