I remember watching that. If the founding father of a "unified nation" can have such a mentality, it would not be too far-fetched to assume that the entire Notion of Nigeria was conceived not out of unity and peace, but of Selfish interest. I love this man. Sardauna is the hero of northern nigeria. He had the opportunity to become the prime minister as the Chairman of NPC. But he asked Tafawa Balewa to go to Lagos and become the Prime Minister so that he would stay back and develop the North.

Thats why Northerners will never forget or forgive his Igbo killers.

Nigeria belongs to all not northerners. For 38 yrs the north ruled, they could not even provide schools for their people because they want to keep them under a few ruling family.

They wouldn't do the same for Nigeria.
