Taraba APC Governorship Aspirant Defects to PDP Yususfu Akirikwen, a governorship aspirant of All Progressive Congress, APC, in the party’s recent gubernatorial primary election has defected to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Taraba State; VANGUARD reports. Akirikwen defection was announced at a rally of the governorship candidate of PDP, Dickson Ishaku in Jalingo, Taraba State capital. He reportedly defected alongside 17,000 of his supporters. Explaining the reason for his defection, he said, ''Four of us contested to be the flag bearer of the party in the state, one person out of us hijacked the whole process, we complain to the national secretariat of the party and nobody has ever call us''. #Taraba #APC #PDP |
