Afeez, Ilorin:

The Minister of National Planning and PDP member, Dr. Sulaiman Abubakar,
lost to APC in his polling booth 006, Ode-Opobiyi in the Agbaji area of
Ilorin West Local Government Area.

In the presidential election, PDP polled 39, APC polled 146 while CPP got 1.
Senate: PDP polled 56, APC bagged 132 while ADC scored 1.
House of Reps: PDP, 44; APC:143; APA:3; ACPN:1

Charles and Joel, Lagos:

INEC presiding officers were confronted with the odd challenge of collating results in darkness at the Owoseni Primary School Collation Centre from the various polling units in Oshodi as of 7:40pm.

The ad hoc staff were seen gathering in clusters using their phone torchlights to collate the results because of the pitch darkness in the school premises.

Our correspondents gathered that no provision was made for electricity in the area in the event of power failure.
