Many great author of inventories books have writting concerning this.

Science: The study of the creation. Including the knowledge required in the study.

Engineering: Converting the knowledge derive from the studying of science into visible and feasible products.

Engineering are feeding from sciences. To me, science is the father of engineering.

Since the whole universe are written in theory, but the products becomes practical. Science is the theory. Both science and engineering depend on the knowledge of science. Engineering is still science.

But without Engineering, Science will only be confined to the lad.

Engineering makes scientific discoveries to be available for commercial use.

Of course Engineering is still science....it's just a different field of science (as you know science has hundreds of fields). However, with science and engineering, there are always concepts and new breakthroughs.
