Adoka/Ugboju constituencies (They are more or less districts in the true sense of the word) are just one of several in Benue zone C. there are nine LGAs in this zone so we'll have to wait and see the outcome at the end of the election. traditionally, David Mark has not had much of a stronghold in these two districts. LGAS like Agatu, Okpokwu, oju, obi, ogbadigbo and Otukpo town itself, have been his conquering grounds in times past. A lot remains to be seen though I think its too early yet to celebrate. By the way, incontrovertible information reaching me says that the incumbent Governor, Gabriel Suswam and senatorial aspirant (contesting against Barnabas Gemade- ex PDP national chairman now APC) has been massively defeated in his zone. |
