hello Nairaland.
I am just reminiscing my time at my primary and secondary school days, and what is so memorable and can't believe am glad I went through all that because the experience made me stronger.
This is for those like me ajepako (which means those born and raised in the slums or not so or had no privilege, how we coped with delayed PE levy (correct me if am wrong ) and other bills our teachers and headmasters brought up to extract from our parents that were still struggling with feeding at least once a day.
Now this should get interesting, I remember the teacher I feared so much because his cane and his way of flogging never failed to remind me of the kunta kinte back to the roots series I used to watch back then. this teacher, his name Mr ogunde , his only ability is to flogg and other teachers always called him to beat any pupil that offends them. he is considered moses because anytime we are assembled for morning devotions and we see him coming, we clear his part faster than the river Nile moses in the bible parted.
I also remember Mr osipitan in junior secondary school that doesn't flogg without doubling his cane, oh lawdy the time I entered his trap was the day I saw my greatest grandmother my mom described as Margret Thatcher because she uses horse whip to decipline kids.
right now no cane can nerve me (am not boasting o, neither am I challenging) but those teachers no try at all, using us as flogging practice as if they run a competition on who flogs better.

The day i regretted myself was the day i beat one of my teach "Mr Okocha", I beat him to the stage that his face got swollen and my teachers also got my body tattooed with lashes of cain

Mine I can't actually the number of teachers we dealt with in secondary school tho the one I'll not forget is the day I fought my biology teacher while I was in SS3. The teacher was far stronger than me and when I realise I was about to get my ass kicked I took a basketball and shoot his face removing one of his front teeth and took to my heels

At the end our brother was sent to the school to reconcile the matter. grin

up till now I dey meet the guy and we're friends now

Mine was the day i was caught with a love letter, i was given the letter to pass to a girl named jennifer and the teacher sighted me with it...

Mehn... i was flogged upto 50strokes, and the guy got like 15 and the girl too embarassed

Later that year it didn't stop them from making me headboy grin

I remember removing the whole nails on our math teacher's stool, he sat and the man just fell on the floor flat... con see laugh grin

I quick come school to carry out dat operation so nobody notice or see me
