Please, i want start earthen catfish pond but am afraid there may be huge loss as a result of the bigger fish eating the younger ones, because there would n t be sorting , pls how would i minimize loss.?and pls what should be the depth of earthen pond ? plz help

The solution to your problem is to first plant ur fish in a nursery pond until it's about two months old before stocking them in an earthen pond. Do not buy fingerings but go for juvenile or jumbo fish if you don't have a grow out pond. If not first stock ur fish in a grow out pond.
Note when you are buying a jumbo fish or post juvenile make sure you get it from a reliable source because the tendency of getting third set or sorted out fish with stunted growth is high. At fingerings stage it is lower. For more information and details call 08038651783
