Are We Underestimating Asari Dokubo's Threats? by hairyanus: 1:01am On Apr 03, 2015
The global dynamics of war has made nations adopt deterence as a sure position to ensure global peace..The reason is simple..Never assume your opponent or enemy is not capable...America struck Iraq but won't dare attack Iran or North korea for fear of their unknown nuclear capabilities, hence, the endless negotiations. Asari Dokubo is threatening to unleash on the Nigerian state and we stare at him and foolishly think he cant do nothing. This was how OBJ said Bokoharam will die naturally. Here we are today. On the other hand, Yaradua's govt, on trying to remove the cancer called Bokoharam, killed their leader and that was the end of peace and beginning of insecurity in Nigeria...A lot of people are ranting and throwing away logic on this matter...after a careful look at the unfolding event..i am convinced that Asari and Tompolo are far wealthier now than when they first went to the creeks in early 2000...To that end, the bomb they can acquire and unleash collateral damage will be so sophisticated that Bokoharam will appear to have been using knock out all these years. The damage they will cause may take 10years to repair...I once read an article on new York times in 2006 by an oil and energy expert, telling OPEC that so long as the militancy in Niger delta remains...the oil world is headed for crisis. Yaradua moved into action using diplomacy and amnesty.....had he killed the militants...we would have been in deeper kunu today. Only the leader of Bokoharam, Mohammed Abubakar was killed and his supporters vowed to avenge his death. We thought they were high on cheap weed till they became more viciously popular than imagined...

Asari is being undermined by Nigerians, they have called him fat pig but may he be tamed before he unleashes the unimaginable against the Nigerian state..i am not one of those underestimating him...i propose that talks begin now before he gets out of hand. Shell petroleum closed their shop today in Bayelsa because of his street walk with his boys accross yenagoa....

Indeed, i am wearing my binocular vision of optimism..hoping for the best.

This stuff you COPIED is making sense. May I let you know that Asari may just be passing a message from the look of things. But GEJ conceding defeat helped cool them. And they will remain cool for a hell of a long time(4 years).

Forget about the guns they got left. These guys are richer now and are now united. Why do you think Russia and China agreed to sell weapons to Nigeria. What if all the weapons where not for the Nigerian military? Let's pray it's not so but even @ that, these guys got backing of Russia. China may decide to support too because they are interested in the oil too. The only country that sets panic in the US is Russia (hence Asaad is still walking free and killing his own) and right now, China is the world's largest economy untiLl their recession will hit. That will be a long time though.
Let's just pray Nigeria won't be used to play chess on the board of G8 because it will crumble Africa.

Buharists ain't helping matters at all.If the Niger deltans have choosed to thread the path of peace, why not let them be rather than inciting war by comments like, Buhari will crush them.It is a well known fact that only the inexperience scream for war. With this mentality,,the country can't move forward and the vicious cycle keeps going...All President Jonathan needed to throw this country into a state of anarchy was to reject the result and the rest will follow but he opted wisely. We commend him for his bravery.

It takes very little to destroy the oil export terminals and tank farms, and gues what, Nigeria will turn to Niger in just a few months. Let us pray for peace .
Re: Are We Underestimating Asari Dokubo's Threats? by modath(f): 5:12am On Apr 03, 2015
Asari's rantings is that of a m*d man,he has no creek boys backing,he just has a rag tag of unemployed youth to call on when he wants to make a bit of noise to get noticed.
Has any of you "bitter" people ever wondered why Tompolo got the Nimasa contract and Boyloaf got the oil platforms/pipeline contracts? And Asari got a few handouts? Its cos these are the real warlords and Gs, with the real creek formations to cause great devastatation but you've all seen Tompolo throw in the towel and wants to work with the incoming government. He knows its not going to be business as usual after Jonathan gave up on the PDP cause and negotiated for only himself and his wife to be spared when the hammer falls.
Some NLers get extremely emotional in their baseless analysis and go on and on about what "they" will do as if they can even stand the fumes of just tear gas!!!
