I CONGRATULATE ALHAJI ABUBAKAR SANI BELLO ON HIS ELECTION AS GOVERNOR NIGER STATE.
Over the past six months I have gone round the nooks and crannies of our dear state, seeking the mandate of our people to lead as Governor of The state, my aspiration was borne out of a fervent desire to move our state to the next level of development following a robust foundation that have being laid by the previous democratic dispensations. I have worked tirelessly and timelessly too! For these, I will not despair, I will continue to do this even outside government.

For now the people of our dear state have decided and I submit to their decision which though not in my favor but for my co- contestant and brother Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello of the All progressive congress (APC), for I believe he has the interest of the state just like me, at heart.

My hearty congratulations to him and his team for the success recorded, I urge him to always put the interest of the people and the state first above all.

In same breath, I thank all those who participated in the process, from INEC, The voters, the party members and especially too members of my campaign team who worked day and night without break to sale our programmes and manifesto to the electorates, my family, the PDP, my supporters, friends, colleagues, well wishers, elders, the youth and women from whom I enjoyed my greatest support. I appreciate every one immensely. In this, We all are winners one way or the other.

And to my leader and Governor, Dr. Mu'azu Babangida Aliyu CON (Talban Minna) I say thank you for believing in me, I know he wanted the best for me and the state but Allah knows what is best for us all. Please accept my highest esteem and respect.

Finally, I call on all Nigerlites to give the incoming Government maximum cooperation that will lead it to success, as it is the wish of every government to work hard to better the life of the citizens and the state in General.

Once more Congrats Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, congrats Nigerlites.

Long live Niger state

Well, we tried our best. Both on social media and in our offices.

Am really pained Umar Nasko lost. Really pained. Before the elections, the momentum was very much in his favour. What most people would tell you then is that, if it's Presidential, Sai Baba. But if it's gubernatorial, Sai Nasko. But when Buhari won, the momentum shifted drastically.

Nasko is a gentleman. A gentleman to the core. Abu Lolo on the other hand, I live and work here, but I have never seen the man. Didn't even see him when the campaigns started and thruout the duration it lasted. But what most people here saw was just the platform, and the logo on which he came out from. And that is what helped and pushed him.

I wouldn't blame most people though. The PDP, in many places has been a mess. And it is rubbing off on the good candidates that came out on the platform.

Babangida Aliyu did himself..
Broke the agreement with the 5APC governors and has seen d consequence..
At the end he and Sule Lamido have seen the consequence of betrayal

There definition of progressives prolly being removing "A PDP POLITICIAN AND INSTALLING AN APC STALWART".... I have been watching with keen interest on how APC is sweeping the Northern part even where the PDP governors and Senators worked well. Example is Bauchi!

NIGERIANS, can't you people see that APC is nothing but an aggrieved party of demons whonwant nothing other than turn Nigeria into a obe part state? Like Iraq or Iran? Come to the South East here. People are voting on personality not party. Anambra is APGA because Obiano is working... Enugu is PDP because Sullivan wirked well. Abia is APGA because TA Orji messed up big time. Ebonyi is still PDP even though the PDP governor messed up and wanted to force a Labour Party candidate on them and cover his loots. Many people think that we are against Rochas because he is in APC... Its a lie. People are against Rochas because he is a thief and a scammer. He just built few buildings in Owerri and thats all. He didnt do a dime for yhe occupants of Owerri and those who stay in the villages. He will now go to the villages, use buses and bring old women to the town. They will now be shouting "Wow, see development"... When they see a flyover built with blocks and Ibeto cement... One of them fell the other day.

Once those old women reach their respective villages, come and see gossip and shouting. They will now spread the word that Rochas is working... Lols. But real elites know that Rochas is nothing but a scammer who is converting Imo choice properties to his own just like Tinubu is doing in Lagos. You all should not mind the deceptions being fed you guys by Abagworo and that fucklikant called Berem or MzJackbaueress whose only jobs is to service the bed of visitors in government house!

What am saying in effect is that APC will take this country no where and by Gods grace, PDP will bounce back.

CHANGE IS NOT BY FORCE AS BEING PROPOUNDED BY APC. CHANGE IS SOMETHING OF COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT WHEREBY ALL CITIZENS AGREE ONCE AND FOR ALL THAT THIS IS WHAT THEY WANT! It is not a situation of when a PDP politician is in power and APC makes government hard for them and then starts screaming change.

Posterity will judge all these people voting out good people all in a bid make Nigeria an APC country... Dry bones will rise again with force. Mark my words.[/b]

Watching this guy's campaign before the elections, I was hoping he ll win. He really got to the grassroot and nooks &crannies of the state. Surprised he lost. Well, the Niger people have spoken!

That's him...the young man is very handsome. Would have been the youngest governor in Nigeria.

He is still young, can always try again. But he contested in a wrong party.

Who will now win the Nobel Prize of conceding defeat in Nigeria? A lot of people competing with Jonathan now. Since that is seen as the prize for 2nd place candidate, everybody going for it. Me I nominate Jimi Agbaje. Hahahahahaha!
