Worshipping On The Wrong Day Of The Week (Sunday) : by Magz(m): 9:02pm On Jan 30, 2009
Just wondering,  How many people are aware that most churches worship on Sunday, which is actually the wrong day of the week? Before God made humanity and everything, he created the Sun and the Heavans on the first day of the week hence the name "Sunday". This is really Satan's day. (The Sun is made up of fire; of the flames that God sentenced Satan to wallow in for all his days).

If you really break down the scriptures, In Exodus it is one of God's commandments that we honor the Sabbath which would be Saturday, the last day of the week and the day when God rested.

Just look at the roots of the words. Sabado = Saturday = Sabbath.

This is one major problem that I have with Christian Churches and a reason that I do not attend. Instead, I study the word on my own and do not allow myself to be mislead by any fool preacher.

Don't be fools people.

John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

Galatians 4:10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years4:11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labor in vain.
4:12 Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.

OMG!!! OMG!!! LOL!!! LOL!!!

First of all, I think Seventh Day Adventists have their services on Saturday. Have you ever considered attending their services?

Also, Does this mean that Seventh Day Adventists are the only true Christians in the whole world? Just a question.

I already knew this, but I still go to church on sunday. To me it makes no difference. It's not all christains that go to church on Sunday. Catholics go to mass on saturday or sunday.
Re: Worshipping On The Wrong Day Of The Week (Sunday) : by Oba234: 12:27am On Aug 22, 2009
lol@Sunday is Satan day. who told u that? did u see that in a revelation from God. So because God created the sun, heaven and, fire on that day it's satan day? since God created heaven on Sunday, don't u think it should be called God's day according to your logic.

when I read the original post, I just laughed, Christ freed us from all of these laws and we still put ourselves back into the same bondage. Is it the day that matters or true worship? why don't we focus on the grain instead of the chaff?

How do you know that YWH created the Earth in literal days? Is Sunday YWH's invention? did YWH invent the Gregorian calendar?

You are the one suffering from [i]mental slavery

If you can't dance and clap to Jesus, who/ what will you then dance to? God inhabits the praises of his people. We are not under the bondage of Islam, hence the freedom to bless his name for the joy of the Lord will always be our strength. cool grin tongue

lol. Going by peoples' realization of the truth and their curiosity on this platform, i'm afraid pastors might have to jump to the street one to start beginning for money because guys are becomin wise.
I don't even kno what the problems with Abuzola's ironically best friend are. Do you think Jesus or God(Elohim, Yaweh, Jehova YWH(lol, your god even get abbr.) anything you call him) would have sent down the bible with mountainous discrepancies? I know you guys don't consider them as errors, but the sincere truth is Paul and his cohort has said it all in the bible that the book is not written but to make you know/believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God when the Subject in question never said so.
Paul is only making you guys defend what you have no competent knowledge of thereby subjecting you to unnecessary ridicules. Please be wise. Read the bible with wisdom, don't mix up for yourelf and dont force words into the humble servant's mouth.
Talking about worship, how did the bible explain WORSHIP? Pls reply.

Clapping and dancing is a mosaic tradition borrowed by christians. King David always clapped and danced to the Lord.
Jesus did not also say go to church on Saturdays. Worshipping on Sundays makes christianity distinct from Mosaic faith.
Re: Worshipping On The Wrong Day Of The Week (Sunday) : by Abuzola(m): 7:42pm On Aug 23, 2009
In Islam Dawud aka David praised God with songs, for every generation there is a law for them. Joseph era people drink water with golden cup, prostrate etc in muhammd's era down to today God forbade it, in moses time it was eye for an eye and during jesus time he abolished those law. In every nation ruled by its Prophet they are governed according to Their culture invoked by God.

If david and solomon sang or danced, did jesus instructed you to do so ? If yes, then why don't you also commit adultery like david did 2 samuel 11:4-5 or marry thousand concubines and wives like David. Wake up

@ poster

please post accurate information and enlighten your Christians brothers.

SUNday is the germanic/old english word  derived from latin "Solis". It has nothing to do with God creating the sun on that day nor is is coined such because of that history.

Sunday whcih was a day of worship of the "Sun" god was marked as a day of rest by the Emperor Constantine when he accepted Christianity thus official worship commenced on Sunday by the roman empire

The original apostles were jewish and honored the Sabath day in acknowledgment of the Jewish scripture.

the later apostles coined the phrase "the lords day' in remembrance of the resurrection.

Any one who uses scripture to bolster the fact that there is any significance of Sunday worship is merely miscontsrueing information.

There is no instruction in the bible to worship on any particular day of the week, the sabbath in the bible is described as a day of rest and NOT a day of worship.

After Christ died and ressurected on a sunday morning, The old things  (even the sabbath day that the Jews worships) were passed away, behold all things were made new.

The day Christ redeemed the church through a final battle wiff death is the day we worship Him.

Did God or man give you that information or was that an excuse to seperate this new religion from the old one.

Re: Worshipping On The Wrong Day Of The Week (Sunday) : by Rebarobyn: 3:27pm On Aug 24, 2009
the bible does not say Sunday or any other day, what matters is that people come together and worship God at an agreed time. why is the day of worship is even an issue? there is a very thin line between being a true worshiper and being doctrinal and most people don't know when they cross that line because of their self-righteousness. Asking questions and trying to find answers for everything is good but too much of it just kills your faith.

Hello friend, get this, Muslim worship their God every day and not on Fridays alone,
And if u doubt the Friday worship i will boastfully tell u that the Friday special prayer is supported by the Koran and the  Friday service has its own  special chapter in the book.

If truly sunday is the righful day of xtain worship then u are to suppose it with the bible.

dont know if u are a xtian either.

Is everything you do as a Muslim supported by the Quran?, If no then this your statement has no basis. The bible is a guide for us as Christians, it doesn't give us a hard and fast rule for every single thing we do, more often than not the emphasis is on a personal relationship with God.

Like I said everybody has their own day supported by their books no?

Anyone can win that arguement by simply claiming like one of my friends on this thread quoted from the 'bible" that the old is washed away and incometh the new.

Answer; Who ever made the statement the old is washed away was creating a new doctrine for themselves so if you beleive in God and his law then full ten commandments should be adhered to, no exceptions.

Now answer my question!
