According to Wikipedia the E1B1A can be found in West Africa and again according to Wikipedia it is possible that the E1B1A started in North/East Africa, So West Africans are not west Africans.

Oh btw this make sense, since The Egyptain Pharaoh Ramses the second DNA was tested and it showed that he and his son belonged to the E1B1A group.

Even thought King tut was founded to be white European, I don't see this as a problem at all because according to many Egyptain drawings , it showed that Egyptains were both Black & White people, the Egyptains were not one color like many racist folks would like to say.

So, does this not debunk the theory that West Africans started in West Africa??

There is nothing to debunk because no one has ever seriously - note seriously - claimed that West Africans just sprung from West African soil.

Both genetic and archaeological evidence point to a common origin of all mankind in East Africa. Should it be a surprise then if West Africans have a haplogroup that is of probable East African origin?

Guess not, but I heard many people say west Africans started in west Africa, mostly from the Europeans.

People have been living in West Africa for a very very long time, but I have never heard, or read, where anyone claimed that they originated (independently evolved?) in West Africa.

the origin of man is not in west africa, so it only makes sense that we migrated here from somewhere!

Actually, apparently the 'Out of Africa' theory has been debunked: http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/is-the-out-of-africa-theory-out/

Even thought I still believe everyone came from Africa, because it just makes more sense that way, but new discoveries says other wise

The E haplogroup has an East African origin. The parent clade of E which is DE is found in Asia amongst the Andamans of indian sub continent. That's all for now.
