my friends parents have ~25 years difference between them too and they are still going strong adn will continue to go strong. my frienddoesnt like to mention it being that her half-siblings are comparable in age to her mother, but i always tell her that her parents are proof that there is true love.

Theres nothing wrong in it so long as what u both share is real and genuine. Dont mind those who try to make a case by citing negative instances of age gap failures. U can infact cite several cases of divorce from age mates too. But whats the point?

If you truely love the man, age doesnt matter, all dat matters is love, if u know u both love each other then go on, marry him.
I know someone who is 35 and married a 54year old man, the woman had a late marriage tho and they love eachother, even though the man has grandchildren already.

thanks everyone. just to correct a wrong impression i might have given. i'm not 25 and he's not 52. that was just an example. but there's a 15-year gap in our ages, which sounds formidable. but when we're together it just fades away. i've met guys who were 2, 5, and even 10 years older, and the age thing was always there, either immaturity or over-maturity, lol. anyways thanks. at least i know some people would understand.

not necesarily true. there are loads of young people dropping dead all the time.  a freinds mum died at 54 some weeks back. the dad who is 72yrs old is still walking about.  who could have told us the young would go before an old man?

Not bad, love says it all though i'm not saying one should marry her grand/great grand dad'S age. But talking aboutbeing an early widow, that's true but some that get married very young still die whether young or old so i believe one shouldn't be looking at whether I would become a widow soon or not to consider.

Hey, this topic gives ppl like me some hope. Beleive me at 54 I'm still single and looking. To know that there are still young girls out there geniunely ready to hook up with older guys like me, well thats quite reasuring.The trouble is how do you know who is genuine and not just after your dough.
