How much do South African school children know
about the African continent? @BBCAudreyB gave
them a quiz. You won't believe their answers!

If you have been thinking of moving to south Africa... You sure Need a Review

Make sure you listen to the Audio[i]

Some Africans have this to Say

[i]African History should be compulsory from
primary school in all schools in Africa and a
compulsory subject at the university. Stop
studying European history.

To an average south african, every black person is
from Nigeria and foreigners are from Africa. I've
tried correcting this with the few I've met but it
seems that its a history thing.

South african kids don't know anything about
their own country, how then will they know
african continent. They think because they are
living with the whites so they are on different
planet. I pity them and their children.

Deeqow Maria-
Im from Somalia my country has no better
education but we know everything than them and
I know all Africa history

Kenneth kawunda from Uganda,Julius nyerere
from Mozambique whatttttt hahahah its so
shocking. Seriously kids of 18&17 years no one
can even express herself and you think you can
get a white man's job.its a shame.what do you
learn at school? So pathetic that Africa has 20
countries

Ugwu Chinwendu
It baffles me that south Africans dont really know
much about their history. I met one South African
sometimes ago, i engaged him into Apartheid
regime discussion, believe me he knows nothing
about it. And i felt very sorry for their educational
sector. Wonder what their so caled leaders and
teachers are impacting on them. Is only an
animal that doesn't know its history. During
Mandelas funeral, i expected their empty head
president, Jacob Zuma to play it for them on air.
So, it will enable them have a reasonable
knowledge on how African countries help them.
And when he failed to recognised Nigeria at the
event is when i noticed that his mental faculties
has alot of damages. Please, the director and
producer of sarafina film should please play a
vital role in this xenophobic attack by simply
educating SA cox they have gone wild.

Steven Chandalala
This just explains why the south african have a
problem. They have very little on no knowledge
about african and I don't even no what type of
schools curriculum they have. How can they say
kaunda is from Nigeria They don't appreciate
what other Africans did for them. Shame on you!!!!
