Hi, is anybody into real estate who can give some tips. I want to go into it jointly with some friends. We will jointly contribute money and buy plots of land. We then resell when the prices go up and split the interest on top according to each person's contribution. But we are at loss on how to go about buying genuine lands, without having problems with omoniles. Advices and counsels will be welcomed. Thanks |

In this day and age in Nigeria, I think it would be highly advisable for you guys not to attempt to buy any property without first going through a certified lawyer. You can find a long list of people offering legal services in Nigeria here : http://www.nigeriagalleria.com/Professional_Services/Legal_Services.html Otherwise just search Nairaland for a guy whose S/N is "lawyer". (I think he moderates the property section). |
