The bible never even said 'income' biblical tithes is meant to be from agric produce, it is modern day pastors that twisted it to mean income. Meanwhile tithes is not even applicable to christians, it was directed at the jews and is now an obsolete law. Christians are not under the law.

When you have no job is when you give the most.
It a mystery but try it (i.e giving with all your heart, joyfully) and you would be suppress.
