What Would You Do? by bgyrl: 4:33pm On Sep 11, 2006
I have been dating my boyfriend for four years now, and some months back i missed my period, i was so devastated and didn't know what to do so i told him and he laughed about it saying that junior was on the way. well, i thought he had accepted responsibility for it until he called me one day asking me to see him when i got to his place he gave me some drugs to use and stupid me i complied, after about a week and still no period took me to an hospital were i was confirmed weeks pregnant. the next question he asked the nurse was how we could get rid of it and how safe it was going to be, she said it was safe(d&c) but we had to see a doctor first and we did he advised us to keep it but if we still wanted to go ahead it was OK. When we left i was so confused, i was so scared and didn't know what to do. two days later he calls me and said i should make up my mind, it was so obvious that he did not want to have it and well me i didn't want him thinking that i was trying to trap him agreed to get rid of it and so we did. Anyway the bottom line is that a week after the whole thing he starts avoiding me like a plague, when i try to call him he says he's driving or when i try going over to his place he gives excuses like he is not home or he is out of town. well you can imagine what happend next, he told me that it was over and that we couldn't continue with the relationship. know the big question if you were in my shoes what would you do, keep hanging on hoping that someday everything would be alright or forget about him?

firstly any man who can turn their back on his unborn child do not deserve a second thought.

i have had a termination before not because he did not want it hell he did not know i just was not in a healthy state of mind to have a baby.

however when i was married my third son arrived a bit early just months after my second, the docter and my so call husband thought it would be a good idea to terminate, i had other plans i was a married woman there is no way in hell i was going to have a termination.

as for him, i think u know what you should do. wink wink
Re: What Would You Do? by bigtee08(m): 4:48pm On Sep 11, 2006
dont be silly, why are you trying to hang on to someone that doesnt want you. if its over then its over. u already have given him the upper hand by letting him take u to see a doc. even if u were going to abort it , u should have done it on ur own not letting him know about it, then u would have had him on the hook and u'll be the one pushing the buttons.

Gurl, thats some real deep shit u got ursef into. U make it look like ur entire world revolves around him. It takes 2 to make babies, doesn't it? Let him off and move on. Learn from ur past and don't be in a haste to date again. Give ursef space and breathing space for while.

Guys ain't worth all this stress women go thru, very few men out there that appreciate em.

I feel your pains sisters!

If the guy says he is no longer interested then forget about him and move on with your life.

Afterall, you can force a horse to the river but you definitely can't force it to drink.
Re: What Would You Do? by victor4u(m): 11:22am On Mar 12, 2008
Really dont knw y our ladies do allow themselves to b impregnated by a guy promising marriage, to me dat is absolute rubbish. Sex can be done using contraceptives or better stl removin ur dick b4 realease if u wnt to do it flesh to flesh(not advisable sha, cos both f u must av been carried away). Termination of pregnancy can lead to lost of life. Pregnancy shldnt b a pre-requisite for marriage, cos greater percentage f men wl opt for abortion if d lady eventually gets pregnant.
Ladies beware wink

@poster

Do u see why some guys will not make heaven?
Love love, where is real love in dis danm world?
Two people inlove, Yawa gas, is it now enuf to take to his heels??

The ultimate measure of a man is not when he stands in moments of comfort/conveniences but when he stands in terms of challenges/controversy

Dear girl, the mistake has been made and it's no ones fault,we can never be 100% careful always hence the pregancy occured, love is a game of win/loose for those who are still willing to play it,Take a walk,he is not the ultimate man for u and will never be, I only pray for his next victim.

Dont wait one minute or keep waisting time calling him, obviously he is a bad news and will never make a good one, goodluck as u move on to the next level

@ Poster, Pls move on with your life.

Many men has sweet and juicy words that can make women surrender to them. But after achieving their goals they start behaving funny.

My Dear you dont deserve him, let him go. But his conscience will disturb him. If he is yours he will come back and if he doesnt come back he is not yours.

But pls ask for the Forgiveness of Sins from God Ok.

Cheers!!!
Re: What Would You Do? by Hephizibah: 2:57pm On Mar 12, 2008
Forget him of because, what else? Or do u want to crawl back to him? He's not worth it so discard him as Fast as u can.
Have an open mind and SHINE your eye before u go into another relationship. Try to keep your self for the man that will end up being your husband so that u won't end up making the same mistake u made with the last guy who is presently avoiding u.

People from my own side of the country believe that NKIRUKA meaning the one in Front is always better and infact the best.

All the best.

Hi All,
i'm a regular here but im sorry i just feel more comfortable posting this under an unknown identity thats y i registered under this name some fews days ago.well the problem is a friend of mine met a guy and four days later he's asking her to marry him.she accepted and the introduction is around the corner. Now,she says she's worried she might be making a mistake,
my fears are,i dont see why d guy should be in such a hurry hence i think he's up to something.she's just 25 and he's in his early 30's.they just met for crying out loud!cant he wait to get to know her?they arnt sleeping together,he says they should wait till after the wedding.well its not like im loose but its rather unbelievable that a nigerian guy would say such.its not like she told him she's a virgin.
pls wot do u guys think?i'm i being just over suspicious or theres something to worry about?every contribution will be welcomed.
Re: What Would You Do? by Busta(f): 3:24pm On Mar 12, 2008
@uptowngirl

He must have been so desperate for proposing to her after only met her 4 days earlier.
Secondly, she is so damn stupid and a fool for accepting proposal from some guy she barely knew
Third, both of them are numb-skulls for rushing into marriage.

She can still accept his proposal to marry him but not rush into the marriage immediately. They both seem desperate and kind of unsecured. They can still be engaged, go on more dates and get to know each other and then arrange the wedding for at least a year later.
Re: What Would You Do? by Hephizibah: 4:26pm On Mar 18, 2008
i won't really say they are desperate. The first thing one should find out is if they are xtians, born again xtians so to say cos some of them get married that way, it really has nothing to do with desperation. Some may have prayed about it a long time ago, waiting for the right moment, that is when the eventually meet their spouse to be. If she is not sure, if it was not done the xtian way then she should have a rethink, cos marriage is not something u rush into and rush out of.

i'll lend u my sport foot wears, cos i need u to run as fast as u can, he'll finally dump u. any man who's scared of taking up responsibility is a scaly-wag, pardon my ill, but i feel bad about such guts,
Re: What Would You Do? by Nobody: 12:58pm On Mar 19, 2008
You see, this is why we tell girls not to cheapen themselves on any "Handsome and sexy" man they just see. Any man that gets in a relationship with a girl for 4 years can never marry her. She becomes an old cargo that has been used and needs replacement. No man will marry an old cargo, I sure wouldn't, especially if I was the one who USED the girl. I don't blame the boy, its just a normal human phenomenon. You don't expect the guy to continue with a girl that opened her legs for a doctor to throw away a precious jewel. Anyway, i feel for you. Continue with your life with this lesson you have learn t. Forget about him.
Re: What Would You Do? by Uby40(m): 1:26pm On Mar 19, 2008
@ Troynow, its unfair that u aplauded the fella for not being responsible to his unborn baby, for ur notice, "No girl is cheap" , she is only pressured by her friend's advice or the guy's way of handling a relationship. everyone has an instinctiveness to aright doing, we only ask for help to be sure of what we already know.

and on the contrary, i have withnessed wedding thrive after over 6years of courtship, none saw the other as an old cargo, so pls keep some opinion like that to urself, i've been i love with my baby for 3years, and i intend to propose to her on her birthday, and she's no cargo, she's the mother of my kids, and my partner for life.

learn to respect a lady, and you'd be amazed at how wonderful they cud be, i've tried it,and it works.

Well i'm gonna start by sayin d guy is a FUCKER, yeah a real one and it's wankers like this that make it hard for guys like us to find a decent lady.

Well everyone has told you what you need to do i.e leave him, but the problem is that he's going to come back begging-this is not he might come back, im tellin u now that he WILL come back begging because guys love things they cant have, dont know why but its just how it is.
So i'll advise you to forget bout him (which is gonna b so hard) and make sure you dont take him back (even when he start sayin shit like remember the good time we had) its all bullshit.
Because a guy that can do this kinda thing to you is not worth stressin over.

BTW there are loads of good guys out there, its just so hard to find them.
