My dear poster, Firstly, you must understand what masturbation really is, which I know you are mindful of. OK simply put "self pleasure". Personally self-service as it's called is not an ideal activity as a Christian (if you're one). Your body, as the Bible puts it, is the temple of the Lord which mustn't be defiled. As you self-service, you are not only sinning against God, but also pushing grace far from you. Second, it's NOT a PRODUCTIVE ACTIVITY. Believe me it's totally not. After you self-service, you grow tired as you reach orgasm. Ask yourself afterwards what else? To your question, it doesn't cause childishness but LOW SELF ESTEEM. You'll always begin to term yourself "inadequate" in everything that matters to you. There's only one way out. Stop pornography. Yes! Porn. It's not real. Everything you see is to make you come for more and then surely self-service when your erotic feelings get heightened. Preoccupy your mind. Set your priorities straight. Get productive with your time. On a calendar, start marking days you've gone without self-servicing, it grows into weeks, into months and eventually years to go by you look back and smile at how you were able to overcome that bad habit. Never look at the opposite sex TWICE. I must tell you, it doesn't start easy but you can do it. How? Just believe. Meditate on the word of God and I pray you'll scale through in Jesus name. Avoid loneliness. Get girlclose by open Up to someone close to you whose elderly .discard all sensitive materials in your possession .most importantly draw close to God..... And you will see changes in your life..wish you well.... |
